Suzi Quatro

Suzi rocked with her first bluesy, primitive and pop rock album. It contained everything and, well just rocked. Anyone who wants to hear a great album with nooooooooooo filler this is it. From the pop production line of Chinn and Chapman to her take on Elvis and her own and Len's compositions it is all 100% band orientated good gear. This band lasted three albums and with one exception many more. She was no show pony but a bona fide rock queen. However she never shone as brightly as on this album. A debut equalled by few. As Molly would say, do yourself a favour.

Suzi Quatro was a punk rocker before there was punk rock. She has had a long career, but this album is her at her best. If you want to see where The Runaways got a lot of their sound from, check out this album. Suzi's covers of "I Wanna Be Your Man" and "All Shook Up" are absolutely rockin', and her classics "48 Crash", "Can the Can", and "Glycerine Queen" are not to be missed.

We go back a long way to my biker days in the early 70's. I have this album but had to have the CD. Made me one happy ol' lady!

It's not Exile on Main Street nor Alladin Sane, but it's great pre-punk-rock with attitude, from the very fertile 70s glam scene. Rock n Roll!

always played in my favorite theatre in Calcutta--The Globe before curtain time in movies--Glycerine Queen was a Suzie Q favorite !

Probobly everybody is agree this is a best Suzi quatro album the sound is great and selection of songs also

Per tutti quelli che pensano che le varie ragazze ribelli o riot girls varie comincino con Cindy Lauper negli eighties o al massimo con Joan Jett e le sue Runaways nel 1976 beh...sappiate che tutto è invece cominciato da lei...la Suzi, che nel 1973 con il disco d'esordio "inventò" praticamente la rocckettara al femminile con tanto di pelle nera, borchie e tanta grinta. Questo è invece il secondo Lp che migliora il primo ed è a mio avviso il migliore lavoro di Suzi Quatro. Tanti brani rock alla vecchia maniera ben suonati e tirati. Non c'è un brano che annoia in questo disco e pure i brani extra sono all'altezza. Segnalo inoltre l'ottimo lavoro di rimasterizzazione che ci ri-consegna un suono caldo e preciso con bassi profondi e ricco di dettagli con un senso di corposità complessiva ammirevole...tipico degli anni settanta. Non arrivo a dire che sia una pietra miliare del rock ma per me consigliatissimo in ogni caso.

This is truely a rock masterpiece.By 1973 we had not yet seen a girl in front of a rock band belting out great lyrics like put your man in the can honey get him while ya can.Suzi was the first to break down the door put a hole in the wall actually she blew the door of rock for women off its hinges.Others to follow where Blondie Pat Benatar Joan Jett (who copied Suzi style) Kim Wilde and many others.This is a fantastic album and well worth it a great cd to have in the collection of any fine rock or music lover.
