Christmas trip to Hawaii
This item was purchased for our granddaughter for Christmas so I can only say is that it appears to be an excellent purchase. I can say that the GoPro and attachments are of the highest quality. She will be very excited to receive it. The size and the price made it an excellent choice and it arrived as promised.

super small, great for recording MTB rides.
Video quality is good, but everything is good these days. I didn't like the touchscreen menu. Needs a recording light in the back. Always have to look at front to see flashing light. Stability is good. This does not allow for direct transfer to phone via app. But you can transfer MP4 directly. Still experimenting but so far satisfied.

Capturing the important events of life
I bought this for my son for Christmas. He's a big-time canyoneer. He also rides mountain bikes and rappels. This GoPro was perfect for him to record all of his adventures. He attaches it to his helmet and lets it record his experiences. The battery life is outstanding. The quality is top-notch. It is very functional and meets his needs.

Couldn't download App
Bought this camera. Instantly realized it was a mistake when I saw the battery is NOT removable. (can't take more with you to extend filming time). Had a couple of episodes of the screen being green when powered up. THEN I tried to download the App. The App said my I Phone wasn't new enough (it's only like 4 years old) That was the last straw, I returned it. I was NOT going to buy a new $900 phone to run a $200 camera ! Bought a DJI to replace it, and their App downloaded right onto my "old" phone with ZERO issues !
