Beast
what can I say its Gigabyte they knocked it out the park again the x870 is a beast of a motherboard. after watching tons of mother board reviews it was a choice between gigabyte and MSI and Gigabyte won I currently have a GTX 970 gpu and never had a issue. Gigabyte is a Brand I will always buy. he GIGABYTE X870 AORUS Elite WiFi7 stands out as a well-rounded motherboard that combines robust performance, advanced connectivity features, and thoughtful design elements. Its competitive pricing further enhances its appeal, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a reliable foundation for their next PC build.

High-Quality Performance and Excellent Features
The GIGABYTE X870 AORUS Elite WIFI7 motherboard has truly elevated my PC building experience. Packed with features, it delivers solid performance at a competitive price point. The BIOS 8-segment display is a great addition, providing clear diagnostics and making troubleshooting much easier. The easy-release button simplifies component swaps, which is a huge plus for anyone who likes to upgrade or maintain their build. I also appreciate the tool-less design, which made the installation process straightforward and hassle-free. All in all, this motherboard strikes a great balance between performance, functionality, and ease of use, making it a perfect choice for any builder.

Sleek look, good price, lots of QoL features
With the exception of one thing, this board is great. The pricing is frequently excellent, compared to many x870 boards, while generally providing a feature set well above that of other x870 boards. The board is very heavy, which may be an issue for some, but it does make the board feel like significantly more premium. A lot of that weight comes from the various heatsinks and m.2 covers, and they do an excellent job, so much so that the vrm fan on my AIO basically hasn't ever come on. The board design in white is fantastic, and I must point out how many things have been colored matched to make the board almost entirely silver or white. It really does look excellent. Ports are for the most part placed in very good locations, although I would have perhaps appreciated an additional fan header on the top of the board for rear exhaust fans. One small quibble is that the sata ports are unfortunately directly beneath where a gpu would sit, making it very difficult to mess around with. Ideally, these would just be moved down into the space between the top pcie slot and the bottom two.My one real gripe with this board is the pcie lane sharing. To put it frankly, I really don't like how it's done. On this board, you have three gen5 nvme slots and one gen4 slot. However, to support those extra two gen5 nvme slots, the use of either results in the *gpu* pcie lanes being cut to x8. I frankly do not understand why this board chose to priotize gen5 ssd slots when they have little purpose for the vast majority of users. These being gen4 would have been much better, because as it is, I cannot really use those two slots unless I am willing to potentially give up performance (granted, gen4 x8 is far far faster than most gpus/workloads need, but it can impact others).Provided you can live with the lane sharing arrangement, this board is excellent. The bios 8-segment display, easy release button (a huge QoL feature, something I sorely needed on my last motherboard), and almost entirely toolless design makes it just a breeze to use. Oh, and it supports windows dynamic lighting! No need for external RGB software... unless you want your RAM to match lol

Pleasure to build with
I purchased this board while fighting with ASUS for a faulty ROG strix b650e-f, that was sent back missing parts, with oily residue all over it when I saw this board was on sale for $56 off making only $5 more that the aorus B650 elite I jumped all over it and you know what!, I'm glad I did. This board was a dream to build with everything is just so logical, great design and its boots fast something my Asus board could not do. I will update later but I remain cautiously optimistic that this Aorus x670 will remain a solid board for AM5.6/9/23Unlike my previous ROG Strix b650, no blue screens, no freezes, no having to constantly troubleshoot. Still very happy with it.7/26/24I love the aesthetics of this board and after dealing with Asus and their terrible customer service it was a pleasure to have a board that just worked and it so so for almost a year until it didn't. it recently had issues with random shutdowns, and after checking every component in backup pc(always keep two of the same socket), and reinstalling windows I RMA'd it back to Gigabyte. I dont overclock as a matter of fact I run my 7900x at 65 watts, it had great airflow, bios was recent, so I was crushed having to pull my perfect system apart. I have heard horror stories about gigabyte support so helping for the best. Ironically a $120 asrock b650 that I purchased while waiting for Asus to stop screwing around with my rog strix b650-e-has now outlasted and outclassed two $300 dollar boards from the two biggest motherboard manufacturers8/24/24I RMA'd the board, for one issue, and that issue seems to be resolved BUT while they had it apparently they had an issue with the onboard video which I never had so they fixed it right? WRONG!, they sent it back to me and literally as soon it the onboard video is plugged it it shuts down so I had to take my precious time to pull out the mobo which was looking amazing in the case with awesome cable management and waiti a few more weeks. First Asus, now Gigabyte has dropped the ball with AM5 board meanwhile my $120 asrock board has outlasted both the 3 ROG B650E boards from Asus, and Now the X670 board from gigabyte. I hope they fix it correctly or have the decency to send me a new replacement but if not I will be looking at other options10/11/24So I purchased a Asus tuf x670 and despite my experiences with the rog strix b650 and so far so good meaning I never used the aorus x670 until yesterday and despite either getting a replacement motherboard or mine fixed, not sure because two different people said two different things and surprise, it still had the same issues that I sent it for initially and this time I'm tired. Tired of the rude and sassy customer service rep who is a total d-bag, tired of the excuses, tired of paying to have my board sent to them for their issue so I will take the loss and toss this p.o s board in the garbage. Never again gigabyte, you lost a loyal customet
