I’m really happy with the streaming box . I’ve got a few others like the fire stick and apple box but what I like about this one is the ease and amount of apps you can put on it . Works perfectly for all your streaming channels and It’s got 2 usb ports and a micro sd slot so tons of memory or an easy way to play pre recorded stuff or view saved photos . The icing on the cake for me is the web browsers. It came with Google and chrome already installed but you can download any one you prefer ( I’m using Brave as it’s got a brilliant add blocker ) . All round a great buy for the price .

Brilliant does the job

Can't handle video playback at standard definition so really struggle to see how it could do any higher. The remote control (which doesn't come with batteries) is incredibly poor, has to be pointed exactly at the box to work which made setting it up very difficult. Doesn't do at all what we were hoping based on the description so we will be resetting and returning it. A few positives, it was neatly packaged, came with hdmi lead, easy to plug in, compact size and does seem to have a fair amount of app availability. Unfortunately it just isn't up to the job.

-Swift u.i/o.s -Runs well from 700mb internet speeds and 200mb speeds with VPN -good for steaming xyz apps Now the bad bits.. - no batteries for the remote -android phones DO NOT connect to the tv box to control the box or to be able to use a keyboard (even using google tv app) -remote curser is soooooo slow using the arrows (not motion using like LG magic remotes) -what could have taken 10 mins to set up and get the apps I want on it took 2 hours... BUT those apps xyz runn soo smooth compared to a 4kmax stick. Overall frustration setting up, but has the apps you want that the 4k max firestick just can't handle as well. Buying a keyboard which hopefully this won't be a issue connecting to the box like the failed attempts of android phone. Streams in 4k from xyz apps, upscales from 1080p/2k quality to full 4k too.

If there was an 8Gb option at a sensible price, I would have gone for one. The hardware is 3* or 4*, but the price is where the value is and it's worth the fifth star. But at £28.99 (Dec 2024) - I just wanted it to be good enough. And it is. Not exceptionally fast, that will cost you more, but for under £30 it is decent. If you are the complaining type, get one that has 8Gb and costs £80 or more. Something with 8Gb of real RAM, not one that uses Virtual RAM. If you want more speed, then spend more money. Will it last forever? No. Will it be fast(ish) forever? No. And neither will any other hardware of this generation. Hardware gets faster, software gets more complicated and future updates will expose the 4Gb of Ram a lot sooner than the processing power at hand. It only needs to be pretty good and it does that perfectly well.

Impossible to connect wirelessly with this to my wifi but then I got this to play video files from usb. It didn't go well for that task either and I wasted about 90 minutes faffing about with. So I bought a Firestick & OTG adapter which works easily with VLC player.

great item easy to install working within 20 mins great price quality service delivered within 24 hours great pictures and easy to use but could of done with a image on what buttons on control do a bit of trial and error compitable with most tvs with hdmi slots

This product was sold with 2-pin plugs, which were not mentioned anywhere clearly. Why would I buy it in Ireland & UK with the 2-pin plug? VERY DISSAPPOINTED

I have older android tv boxes and this one is better. Faster processing and more power makes this one a winner. Kodi builds and streaming IPTV run perfectly, along with my favorite android apps.
