I got this strip for my back door which was recently replaced and as a result, part of the floor had to be taken up which left a gap. I used this to cover the gap which it does nicely. It's quite expensive, but it is hard wearing. It was simple to cut to size using a sharp Stanley knife and came supplied with an adhesive tape to secure it in place. Really impressed with it.

Long story short, there is a transition between our kitchen and our living room, where it goes from flat vinyl to deep pile carpet. I’d had to lift the carpet there once upon a time, but ever since, the metal bar they had put down bent, and never fit again (it was poorly made). Anyway, with young people running between the kitchen and living room, we’ve had a lot of stubbed toes and foot injuries, as well as the robot vacuum catching the lip and raising it back out etc. so I’ve used this to replace the whole lot and it works perfectly! I even had a power cable for a keyboard that had to run under the carpet, now routed through the channel in the ramp! I was delighted to fix it so hopefully will last a long long time.

I put this on my back step outside to ensure that water is repelled from my wooden threshold and to help wheel things in. It is made of good quality robust rubber and was very easy to install especially as it was the perfect width for my door and needed no trimming. The supplied double sided tape is thicker than carpet tape and provides a strong hold, the lining paper was easy to remove. Simply press into place. One of those things that does what it claims well and without any fuss.

Good quality and well made, but very expensive for what it is. Would not recommend.

This is a high quality PVC ramp that is flexible, easy to carry around and is very tough. I like the groove under the ramp that allows cables to be protected where necessary. I haven’t needed to shorten this yet as I intend it to be used as a portable ramp and will see how I get on over a couple of months. It makes moving over door ways easier and quieter whilst the grooves ensure wheels can obtain a good grip. A very useful item for wheelchair users but if you needed more than one it would be expensive. Despite this it is probably the best quality you can obtain and looks and feels as though it will last a very long time.

The ramp/strip is nicely made and does the job it's intended for very well. The included double side adhesive tape is very strong, the only thing I wont know for sometime is will it stand up up to being out of doors stuck to concrete? If it were £10 not £20 that would be a realistic price and why I've knocked one star off.

This is a remarkably heavy, tough piece of rubber used to bridge the gap between differing floor heights; facilitating wheelchairs and trolleys to move smoothly from one area to another.Most will use this in an interior setting, as a fixed installation, however I also found it useful to bridge a gap for a metal ramp that wasn’t quite lying flat over an extended step. This can fill the space under that ramp for when we need to take an elderly relative out of the house, resolving an otherwise tricky situation with a wheelchair.
