These worked OK given the 0.47" thickness. You'll need the thick stuff for more sound damping. Note, however, that they're 300mm, not 12 inches. Works out to about 11-13/16" per side.

This works great! Perfect for DIY studio's I sound amazing with the foam and it feels really durable. The size and Thickness is really good for this price.
