I think I'd have given this a better rating if it claimed to last 3 months. It does. And that's all. I know this because I've been using this product for two years...every 3 months. It works well, I suppose, because after 3 months, I get no water and am forced to buy a replacement filter for 50 bucks. Otherwise, I need to get a new filtering system which is a lot more. But the world's a greedy place these days, so you deal with the crap you can afford.
