Size matters and this Kindle is just right.
I've had a Kindle for many years but most of the time it was tucked away in a drawer. I also had an iPad which sidelined the Kindle. Anyway, I was having a clear out and came across the ancient Kindle and connected a charger and within moments it was working happily in my hand. Being quite old it stumbled along (like me sometimes) but I was impressed by its size - really convenient. I checked out the latest Kindle and decided to buy one. It is quite fantastic - it holds all my music and books and you can use email and surf the Internet. A single charge lasts for days. Whether you are travelling or just want a convenient pile of books by your bed this Kindle is the way to go.

Great
Yes, is good, especially if you have already a fire tablet, then set up is a breeze. All the stuff you need etc. Is not much different from the larger fire tablets in use and set up. So brightness can be set, and is automatic anyway. So it's okay and good for the price. Games are fast and play well. Some games are free with prime. Overall, this is good, the is only one advert on startup, so not bad at all. If you need an account not available in apps, then the browser provided Silk, is effective and efficient and you can open google Docs, bank accounts, teams through silk. Silk is a good browsee. Because Fire is based on Linux it's safe from viruses.

Good daily tablet with solid performance for the price
Good daily tablet with solid performance for the price The Fire HD 8 (2024) has been a very good little tablet for everyday use. The 8-inch HD display is bright enough and clear for watching videos, browsing the web or reading, and the performance feels snappy for casual apps and streaming without any noticeable lag. It’s not going to rival premium devices in raw speed, but for the price point it handles all the basics very well. The 3 GB of memory and 32 GB storage give you enough room to install a fair number of apps and games, and there’s also the option to expand storage with a micro-SD card if you need more space for photos or offline media. The battery life is respectable too, easily lasting most of a day’s use on mixed tasks without having to charge constantly. Being an Amazon device, it’s great for accessing Prime Video, Audible, Kindle books and Alexa features, so if you’re already in that ecosystem it feels very natural to use. The ads on the lockscreen are something to be aware of, but they’re not intrusive once you’re actually using the tablet. For kids, travel or general entertainment around the house it’s a solid choice that does what you’d expect without feeling cheap or underpowered.

Great quality tablet, easy to use.
We love this tablet, it’s easy to use, easy to get downloads, you can opt to have parental control on or not, it’s great for them to play games or watch their favourite programmes, picture quality is brilliant. I like that there is now an option for different colours each of my girls now have their own colour so makes it much easier. And for the money I think it is really worth it

Just what I need daily!
A really great tablet so easy to use even with my elderly fingers! Not too bulky either so easy to pop into my bag when travelling to see my new baby grandson! This has given me the confidence to try other things that I felt were too difficult for me! Thank you x

Nach einmaligen Umtausch top. Für Internet surfen und Bücher lesen top. Geschwindigkeit finde ich gut. Lesbarkeit auch. Nicht zu schwer. Gute Haptik

For me the most important thing was enough memory and I'm more than satisfied. I bought it because of reading the books
