If you are always tired--this Ring tells you how to fix it in detail
Anyone who always feels tired should invest in the Oura Ring. Anyone who has not been able to be fit or improve their fitness needs this Ring. It gives you specific direction for how to increase energy and be more fit. This is my second and the gold band is very attractive not overwhelming other jewelry that I wear. The Ring is comfortable to work in, workout in, and sleep in. It is waterproof, so there's no need to remove it to shower or wash dishes which for me makes it a fitness tool I was able to stick with. I've learned a lot. The Ring deciphers why I'm tired. My sleep quality is scored and thoroughly explained with specific data not only about when I go to bed and wake up, but exactly how many hours (or minutes--yikes!) I'm in REM sleep. It tells me if today is a good day to workout hard or if it's time to take a day off and focus on rest. It tells me if I'm not getting enough physical activity in my day. All of my vitals are charted and presented in real time and across a timeline: Daytime heart rate, sleep heart rate, and even daytime stress and the toll it takes on my heart rate and my resilience is good (my daytime stress load has been met with sufficient day and nighttime recovery). The battery lasts for days and you can easily monitor batter life on your phone.

Love, Love, Love!!
I’ve had the Oura ring for almost a year now and would recommend if you’re looking for a wearable that balances tracking your sleep & recovery while also looking minimal. In the beginning, it took some time getting used to having it on my finger but after a month of wearing it consistently, I barely notice it and really love how simple and sleek it looks. It also charges very quickly, so if battery life is a concern, I’d say there are few moments where I am without it. I was initially drawn to the Oura ring as I didn’t want another screen in my life, and I find that it meets the exact criteria I was looking for. I have heard that its fitness tracking isn’t the most accurate in terms of tracking your calories burned or steps walked, but I don’t really use it so much for those purposes. If fitness tracking is critical, I’d do some more research on all the options available. However, if you’re more concerned about sleep, recovery, and stress metrics, I would say it does a great job at monitoring.

I love it!
I don't like wearing wrist watches, so having a smart ring is PERFECT for me! I love how durable it is, it's easy to clean, and the app that comes with it is GREAT! The tracking on this thing is flawless and it uses light sensors to track my vitals, so it doesn't even feel like a smart device, just a regular ring! It also charges very quickly, so if I'm using the bathroom or taking a shower at home, I just pop it on the charger for 10-15 minutes and it's good for a few days! I only do it daily just to establish a good routine, and I have forgotten before and let the battery get low, but still haven't had the power die on me yet! I can see it being an issue for lifting weights since it's coated in stainless still and a little bulky, but otherwise very comfortable for other forms of exercise! I can also see it being a problem because of the red and green light sensors at night, it might be disruptive to light sleepers in a dark room, but I just keep my hands under my blankets or pillows, and I sleep just fine! It doesn't light up all the time, just periodically throughout the night. If the tiny lights at night might bother you, you can probably put a thick sock or a glove over your hand at night to block the light. I'm personally not inconvenienced by it at night, and I like that I can't feel anything when it checks my vitals (heart rate, blood oxygen, temperature, just to name a few). I wound up subscribing to the app anually because I really liked how easy it was to set up and how thorough its analysis was for my overall health. UPDATE: Recently I noticed the ring was draining too fast between charges and I actually needed to charge it everyday! I reached out to customer service via the app, they asked a few questions, and shipped me another one immediately! It was refurbished, not brand new, but it works like new and I would never have known the difference if they didn't tell me! I keep the old one as a backup just in case since they said I don't need to send it back. I basically haven't stopped wearing the Oura ring since I put it on, and I've used it on long walks, swimming (fully submerged in water), and for general daily activities and it works great! I wash it with soap and water when I wash my hands and take it off to give it an.wxtra good wipe down before popping it on the charger or putting it back on!

Read this review if you are considering the Oura ring!
Let me start by saying I REALLY wanted to like this ring! I wouldn’t have spent so much money on it if I wasn’t all in! My first disappointment came from, just learning/realizing that the ring did not have the functionality that, I had understood it to have. Does it track your heart rate? Mmmmm… sort of. If you are hoping for it to track your heart rate while you are exercising, you are going to be sorely disappointed. It does heart rate readings every 10 to 30 minutes. No matter what you’re doing. That is one reading every 10 to 30 minutes… Which by the way you have no control of so it might be 10, it might be . So if you’re hoping to capture your peak heart rate while you are exercising, good luck. There is a function where you can record your workout and, I thought maybe that would be a workaround but no, all that really does is, record your path with GPS tracking to give you a visual of the route you took. And it’ll take a couple heart rate readings but, again, not at any meaningful regular interval while you are exercising. There is a manual function to check your heart rate which, has to be selected in the app and then it asks you to stay still for 30 seconds so that it can take your heart rate… And again, if you’re exercising, and you want your heart rate being tracked, you can’t stop everything and pull out your phone every few minutes to force it to take a reading. And, don’t forget, to also stop and be still so that it can take the reading.🤦♀️ Does it detect when you are stressed? One of the features this ring boasts is, tracking your stress. Supposedly, your body gives off particular signals when you are stressed and, the App puts a lot of focus on the amount of stress that you’ve had during your day. The problem is, it’s wildly inaccurate. It goes further to say that, eating, exercising, or doing things you enjoy can all give off those same signals as stress lol so, it’s not really a very useful metric for anything IMO. It will say I am stressed when I am eating, when I am exercising, but even when I am doing something relaxing and enjoyable like, in my garden interestingly enough, it has correctly detected a few times that I got particular news that sent my stress levels way up. It did pick those up. But, again, how useful is it if, it picks up so much of everything else as stress also 😆 I mean unless you are just a slug and lay around all day, it’s going to report that you had stress throughout the day 🤷♀️ And how about that subscription? Does the ring give basic metrics without the subscription? No. Big fat no. This is my biggest problem with this ring. I didn’t know if I felt like that the subscription would be valuable enough to me so I made sure before I purchased it that, if I didn’t want the extras of the subscription that the ring would still continue to track the most basic things like, step count. And, it reports that it does do that. HOWEVER, what they fail to mention is that, they don’t make that data available for you to see anywhere anymore lol and, it no longer updates Apple health or whatever other app you are integrating in with. So, it does NOTHING without the subscription. The only thing it will do is give you these silly readiness scores for your day. If it feels like you got a good nights sleep then it will give you a good readiness score for the day and a good sleep score. But you will see absolutely none of the data that went into building that score. No more steps, no more heart rate, no more anything. That’s IT. You can buy a ring for a fraction of the price that gives you all way more functionality, WITHOUT a Subscription. The way they make it sound before you purchase is that the subscription gives you a lot of extras. And I was willing to pay that if I felt like those extras were really valuable but because the data is so wildly inaccurate, I didn’t feel like it was particularly valuable what I thought I was getting as an “extra” From the subscription. Had I known it wouldn’t do the most basic thing to count steps without a subscription, and actually show them to me either in the app or by writing them to Apple health, I would have never purchased this ring. You’ve been warned! Good luck!

Love this ring
I bought this ring a full year ago. I have loved the features that come with it. It’s worth the money for the ring and the monthly subscription, which is only $5 for the monthly. And it does so much. I recently needed a replacement and it was the easiest process ever. Overall, the pros have vastly outweighed the one con that I’ve had with it, and that was the recent battery issue after a year of having and it wearing it every single day.

The exterior doesn’t hold well
I’ve had my ring for exactly a year now. Here’s what I think, it’s an expensive product for sure. And what you get for it is great but you’re really buying the software that comes with it. The ring itself is pretty for the first month and then scratches and wears away over time. My ring looks beat up after a year of wear. I take it off with very strenuous activity like punching bags or weight lifting. But the titanium exterior is very much delicate and you will see scratches the first month so I gave up caring what it looks like. It works well, the fit is easy to figure out with their sizing pack and the size 7 never falls off my tiny fingers. Otherwise, I love it. I bought it to track my very irregular hormonal cycle and now it predicts my period to the day. Very accurate. And it’s neat to know all my sleeping patterns. I feel very well rested through my days because I’m aware of how long I sleep through the night. For a $499 product, they definitely ought to work on improving with each model’s durability. They just came out with the ceramic… I’ll hold off until the bitter end to see if I’ll purchase another Oura ring.

Amazing
The Oura Ring 4 really surprised me. It’s light, discreet, and so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing it. The sleep, activity, and heart rate tracking is very accurate, and the app explains everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way that actually helps in my daily routine. The battery lasts a long time, charges quickly, and the overall quality of the ring is excellent. If you want to track your health and wellness without wearing a watch all the time, this ring is perfect. I’m loving it and highly recommend it!

Contemplating buying another one
Absolutely loved my Oura ring while it lasted. My husband bought this for me for Mother’s Day and I have used it non stop over the past 9 months. It stopped working while I slept and had to be charged twice a day just to get daily stats. I factory reset it. I soft reset it. I tried everything I could to get it working again because it has wonderful features. Still no luck… so I’m contemplating buying another one or switching to a new wearable.
