Replacement LI11B001F Battery 3500mAh for Harman/Kardon Onyx Studio 1/2/ 3/4 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Tool Kits

This works as anticipated, the installation can be a bit tricky, but it is easily workable with a limited number of tools. A couple of suggestions for installation. Watch the installation videos, like on Youtube. Put in the model of your speaker and then 'batter replacement'. Several will come up and they are really helpful. A couple of tips for the HK Onyx Studio 4 specifically, since I didn't find many videos on that specific model. They switched from Torx to Philips screws which is easier if you don't already have a set of Torx screwdrivers. After you get the initial cover off the speaker, there are five rubber grommets, you need to remove each of the rubber gromets (I used the tool with the battery and a pair of needle nose pliers. Be careful, but firm to remove them. The Philips head screws are under those grommets to remove the case. It is much easier to gently remove the two plug wires from the control board then trying to keep them connected. This specific battery has a shorter cord than the original, which isn't a problem, but when you remove the foam from the old battery wire, you need to wrap it slightly differently on this replacement to make sure the extra small tab of foam wrap goes into the opening from the batter compartment. The wires on this replacement are thinner and shorter than the original battery. Not an issue, but to be aware of while rewrapping the foam. Some people will be tempted to skip removing the foam from the old battery wire and putting it on this one. The foam makes it so that the battery cord doesn't vibrate. There are few things more annoying than listening to music with a vibration from within the battery. Finally, when reassembling, it is easier to attach the longer wire (the wide plug) first, and then the battery plug wire onto the control board. In general, I would recommend this. It is slightly smaller then the original battery and yet provides longer battery life than the original, which is pictured here.

Got my device back up and working without a plug! Very easy to install too. Perfect fit. Battery life is super, I haven’t had it due on me while listening to must yet.

Works great. Two things worth knowing…1) it is slightly smaller than the original, so it helps to move over the cushioning spacers from the original, as well as the rubber wire protector/sleeve; 2) mine did not come charged…it takes several hours to fully charge.

Brought my HK Bluetooth speaker back to life after staying on the charger had worn out the battery. Now it’s a more portable again. Popping the speaker open was a little tricky, but take your time, and you’ll figure it out.
