I have washed the covers by placing them in a bag for delicates, running them on the delicate cycle, and air‑drying them. They come out clean with no shrinkage and are easy to put back on. I am loving my NextSleep back sleeper pillow! I'm super picky when it comes to pillows, and this is perfect for me. First of all, it's comfortable, not too soft, not too hard, just right. I like to put skin creams on my face at night, and this allows me to sleep on my back and not rub the lotion off on the pillow at night. I also fall asleep faster when I'm on my back. I have been in the market for a new pillow for a very long time. I suffer from neck and shoulder pain because I am a back sleeper. I finally found the perfect pillow for me. My neck pain is gone and my sleep pattern has improved. It stabilized my neck, head and shoulders so no more leaning my head to the side putting stress on my neck.I did not detect any initial smell and throughout the night it kept it's shape and felt cool. I contacted customer service to get a second pillow case and they were super friendly and professional. Highly recommend this pillow.

I've been trying to switch to being a back sleeper, which isn't easy. Oh my goodness! This pillow is everything! I am preparing for surgery where I have to sleep on my back. Not easy for this side sleeper! This pillow not only makes it possible, but provides amazing comfort and sleep! It is the perfect height to support your neck and the sides keep your head from cranking to the left or right. Also, there is no odor to this pillow! Absolutely no chemical smell. To say I love this pillow is an understatement. If you are on the fence, get it! You will not be disappointed!

The absolute best back pillow available! We got a split king adjustable base bed, and I decided I was determined to train myself to sleep on my back. Slightly elevating the top and elevating my feet as far as I could really helped me stay on my back throughout the night, but I found that my neck was so sore from my head dropping to either the right or the left. I started wedging pillows on either side of my head and that helped somewhat, but the pillows would always move throughout the night and it would be the same problem. This pillow keeps my head secured and gives me a place to rest my head slightly to the right or the left. It even comes with an extra pad to make the pillow higher, but I prefer a slim pillow, so I don’t add the extra pad. It also comes with a satin pillowcase that fits it perfectly, and there was a card in the package saying there’s a 100 day Sleep trial included and you could also email to get an extra satin pillowcase. I was surprised when the president and CEO wrote me back immediately asking for my address so he could ship the extra case. Extremely good customer service and a very quality product. As their description states, I did not find any weird smells from the pillow at all, which is amazing. I know it’s definitely on the higher end for a pillow, but I would say it is worth every penny!

This pillow is nothing short of a miracle! After recent breast surgery, I'm required to sleep on my back for 6 weeks. I never sleep on my back--have not been able to do so since my mastectomy 40 years ago. I got this 2 days ago, and have slept like a baby both nights. It's perfect how it won't let you roll over in your sleep without waking you up. Yet it's so cuddly and gives you just enough wiggle room to shift positions a little. And as a bonus, the pillow included a certificate to get an extra satin cover for the pillow free. I inquired about that this morning by e-mail and have already heard back from them. OMG, I had the best night sleep. I suffer from neck pain and vertigo. This pillow gave me the perfect support for my neck and also allowed me to sleep comfortably on my back. I have been trying to be a back sleeper due to sleeping on my sides seems to cause vertigo to flare up and gives me neck kinks. I have been unsuccessful with finding any pillow that was comfortable or the right height to allow me to relax and not wake up without neck strain or headaches. I have tried every pillow out there. I slept on this one night and woke up feeling full of energy, not groggy and hungover like with other pillows. I gave it 4 stars only because I needed to add the extra layer piece that comes with the pillow and when you use that the silk pillow case is too tight on the pillow and doesn’t allow it to cradle your head as well so I can’t use it. If I could do 4.5 stars I would.
