The only L-shaped electric standing desk I could find at this size
I used to think that it wasn't going to be possible to get a standing desk for my current office setup, as I have quite a bit of equipment that requires a large desk. Almost all standing desks out there are the same--just a regular rectangle shape, roughly the same size. The few that I could find that were L-shaped were too small for my needs. But then I found this option, and so far I'm very happy with it. It's nice and big, which allows me to fit everything that I need on it with room to spare. The electric adjustment functionality so far has worked perfectly as well. It's not as quiet as some other ones that I've used at my office, but it functions fine and is easy to program and use. The material is what you would expect. A metal frame with a fake wood top--I think particle board with a laminate over that. It seems sturdy enough, and has allowed me to mount various accessories to the underside for storage and cable management. You will need to assemble the product, and it's a bit of a project, so prepare for a couple hours of assembly to get this thing ready to go. However, even the moderately handy will be able to assemble it without too much trouble. I've had the desk for several months now, and it has performed flawlessly in that time. We'll see how it continues to hold up, but so far I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this particular model of desk.

Sturdy and very well packaged.
First of all, the packaging for this was very solid. It uses the good kind of packing material and the box came with corner protectors as well. Despite the fact that one of the boxes (it comes in two boxes) was damaged, the internals were so well packaged that I couldn't find anything wrong. The desk is a single motor L-shaped desk that was relatively easy to install, did so in about 30 min. I assembled it using an electric driver and a manual driver with varying hex and phillips heads. No drilling needed. I did not do the method of turning it over and assembling it onto the top upside down and instead turned the legs over once I had them assembled and placed the top and screwed it down from under the desk. This likely saved me on time. So far it is very sturdy. The motor is relatively quiet (quieter than the fan in the same room) and takes about 20 seconds or so to go from bottom to top. I thought I would have a problem with the speed but it's actually been fine and I don't mind it at all. The desktop also sits on rubber gromets at each screw point to absorb vibrations though I haven't actually encountered any vibrations to worry about. Overall, the desk has been solid so far and is plenty of room for 3 monitors, a laptop and my desktop with enough room still for a 36 in x 40 x desk mat. This desk doesn't come with any other accessories like cup holders or headphone mounts, but I kinda like that since I never had faith in those cup mounts and the headphone mounts I've seen are in set positions.

Phenomenal Workspace with Impressive Scale (Assembly Required)
After completing the setup of the VIVO Corner Standing Desk, I can safely say the end result is spectacular. To be completely honest, the installation process was quite a significant undertaking and proved to be a major challenge to assemble. It requires a fair amount of time and patience to get everything aligned correctly. However, once assembled, the desk is exactly what I was looking for. It is incredibly spacious, providing a massive amount of surface area that easily accommodates my multiple monitors, gaming consoles, and PC tower without feeling cluttered. The build quality feels sturdy, and the Rustic Brown finish adds a very professional, high-end look to my office. At this stage, I am very pleased with the purchase. I plan to provide an updated review in three months to report on the long-term durability of the motorized components and how the surface holds up to daily use. If you can get past the difficult assembly, this is a top-tier workstation.

Amazing desk, not so great instructions
I wanted to upgrade my previous L desk to a sit stand variety and I’m very pleased with this one. My general thoughts about the actual product are very positive. It’s very very sturdy, doesn’t feel cheaply made, and it’s nice that it provides different ways to assemble it. I’ve had this desk for a couple weeks and I’m happy to say that it has had zero issues thus far. It raises and lowers smoothly, no hiccups, you can save a sitting and standing position of your choosing, and toggle through a few other settings at your discretion. If you have any monitor arm desk mounts and you’re wondering if the desk can support it, it’s safe to say absolutely yes. I have two separate LX HD ergotron arms, one holding a 24” 16lb cintiq, and the other holding a 27” 10lb S2721Q. The desk holds just fine. They’re not drilled in, just clamped to the edge. The actual desk is so heavy I don’t ever have to worry about it falling over or something and it keeps steady when I move the monitors around. The desktop is surprisingly very durable given the material. The desk came in two separate packages that both arrived super early and within a day or two of each other. All the pieces were there, plus a little baggie of spare screws. Only one part was damaged but it happened to be one of the foot pads. The screw for it broke off the pad part but I was able to hammer it back into the little “socket” with some gorilla glue. Really just a minor inconvenience and has had absolutely no effect on the desk’s performance. My biggest gripe about this product is the instructions. While the instructions were detailed and thorough for each of the three assembly options, they kept switching the perspectives for each darn step (sometimes even had the wrong assembly option too) so it was extremely frustrating and confusing to follow. I ended up starting over two or three times. I didn’t exactly have the best experience, but in hindsight the desk is quite simple to build now that I know how to go about it. One thing to note is you will have to drill some holes yourself. The screws provided are not self tapping. And while I was able to get all the existing holes to line up well enough by keeping all the screws loose before tightening everything, there were quite a few spots that lacked pre drilled holes at all. It seems Vivo makes really great quality products but is horrible at accurate, clear instructions. I also bought a keyboard tray from them and the instructions had a significant discrepancy but the product rocks. If you’re on the fence about whether to get this desk, know that it’s worth every penny. (=

The desk is sturdy and the lift mechanism works well. Assembly was easy and overall it's good value for money. There are two shortcomings: a) Disassembling and re-assembling the desk is unlikely to work (e.g., if you want to get it out of the room). This is because the desktop is screwed in using wood screws. b) The desktop (I got the black one) while it's nice looking just by touching it with clean hands, my fingerprints/smudges are easily seen. Cleaning with a wet cloth also leaves visible marks.

I've had this desk for a few months now. I wanted to wait until I moved to write this review. It survived the move very well, was pretty easy to take apart and put back together the second time. I remember the instructions feeling a little unclear the first time I assembled, but the reviews were helpful (not the video). I did not need a power drill to assemble it. You will definitely need two people to flip it over once you're done assembling it. I flipped it on it's long side first, then all the way over. It's L-shaped, so that helps with the sturdiness. I find it to be quite stable and doesn't shake nearly as much as my last non-L-shaped standing desk. The material for the tabletop is good, not cheap particle board like those little black Ikea tables. I drilled into it a little bit to mount a power bar and it didn't crack or anything. The black shows smudges a bit, but it's not super noticeable overall, just at some flat angles. It's pretty quiet when raising or lowering. The only reason I'd want a more expensive desk is just if I ever wanted more weight to be able to be supported, or I guess a bit longer is a luxury, but I'm not getting close to this one's limits anyway, so I think it's a great value

So far so good no problem whatsoever with the 2 units I bought both Vivo and are solid powerful units high quality materials and easy assembly plus it came straight away and I can see from the wording on the packaging ant instructions that this firm have a personality and really do care about customer satisfaction so if your wondering if you should well I did and I am really happy with mine and trust me I am very fussy and ocd, Fantastic Product

Absolutely perfect. Exceeded my expectations. Tons of room, very sturdy, good quality and great price. I wish it went a bit lower, but I already knew the height when I purchased it. Still 5 stars without a doubt. Even at full height extension it feels sturdy. Very easy to put together. I mounted a cable management rail underneath and power bar to one of the legs and it worked out great. Definitely buy it! Don't think twice. Especially at this price.

The desk came in two parts, one was the three feet, and the other was the top, which is in three pieces to facilitate swapping between the extension being on your left or your right. I was fortunate to get both on the same day. Pros: Legs are well packed, instructions are easy to follow and offer both rotations and different places for the control panel. Wide range of extension (72cm to 118), motor is quiet and stops smoothly to prevent jolts. It's possible to assemble this with one person as it needs to be upside down for you to do so, but between the weight and the shape I recommend that you have at least two to move it. Cons: The bracket around the motor leg bends easily, and ended up that way when getting it out of the box because it was a little too well packed. This was also easily remedied. The grain on the desktop appears to have been poorly oriented for a right side layout as the corner's grain is perpendicular, and there is a tiny gap between the parts that can be seen in certain positions. If your desk is centred the mouse will not touch it so it could be worse. Would I recommend it? For the budget, absolutely, I will be seeing how well it holds up.
