Good Light Saw
First, I was a little nervous when the saw didn't show up when promised. I then read the bad reviews regarding delayed delivery. But the saw showed up just a day late. So all was good. The saw itself was a gem in its first outing. Chain was sharp and saw light. Very handy. I did change the factory spark plug with an NKG as suggested by some on-line reviewers. Don't know it that makes any difference but the saw starts easily and runs good. Its all light plastic, so I won't expect it to last if used heavily, but I'd buy another based on its performance so far. I have much heavier and pricier saws but this one would be my favorite for small jobs.

I wish I saw this review before I bought this saw!
I’ve used many STIHL saws for work but wanted something at my house that would be relatively cheap and came across this saw. I’m thinking to myself that I could buy 6 of these saws for every STIHL. I got it just in time as a storm blew over an 18” diameter hickory. I cut the entire tree up into firewood lengths and cut the canopy into easy sizes for the chipper. Saw ran great and went through about 3-4 tanks of gas. Now for the “You get what you pay for”. (1) Saw was pinched in the log and I was trying to rock it back and forth to remove and the handle actually collapsed and was very thin metal. (2) There is no throttle stay when trying to start and it never started on 1-3 pulls even when warm. (3) The pull cord is awkward and doesn’t engage the motor immediately. (4) The caps for gas and oil are screw in and pretty cheap. The first time I used the saw the oil was not screwed all the way down and leaked oil everywhere without me noticing. (5) The nut that holds the chain bar vibrated lose and lost it. Went to the hardware store and got another with groves on it so harder to come lose. (6) I had some other limbs around the house that I wanted to cut on the second day and the saw wouldn’t even start after 2 attempts of pulling 20-30 times with about 2 hours in between in case it was flooded. Went out the next day and bought a STIHL so I lost $ on this saw. I wish I had seen a review like this before I purchased.

Great saw for your money
Great saw for the money!!! I have other top name saws I have used for the past 30 years. Todays price $400 to $700 dollars and higher. As I get older using a 20 inch and larger saw too delimb down trees and dropping small trees my arms, shoulders, and back are killing me after a days work. As I started looking for a 12 inch saw I couldn't believe the prices of the big name brands. I came across the Vevor 12inch saw for under $100 dollars so I ordered one. Not sure what I will get but after receiving it I was surprised at the quality. I have made hundreds cuts with no problems. Today it was 20 degrees outside. The saw was sitting in a non heated building and start on the second pull . I guarantee non of my top name brand saws will start on two pulls.

Needs Lock Nuts for the Clutch/Chain Cover
This is a great saw for the money. I bought the 58cc/20" variety. It has great power but it is a bit thirsty because of it. It started on the 3rd pull right out of the box and runs great. The handle assembly feels cheap and I often hit the kill switch with my thumb as it is very close to the handle. My only real issue is keeping the chain tight and the cover on. My first use I lost one of the nuts for the chain tensioner/cover and the other came loose. It ruined the chain so I replaced that and tried again. If I make the nuts too tight the chain binds up. So I used a lock nut I had in stock and the remaining original one. My next use saw the remaining original nut loose and gone and my lock nut holding the cover on. Otherwise the saw is a beast. It easily cuts thick logs. It always starts easily and runs great. I would recommend it. It is tought to beat for the price.

What Starts as a Pit Stop Becomes a Two-Hour Adventure (Spoiler: The Saw Wins)
I told myself I was just going to fuel it up, top off the bar oil, and give her a quick start to make sure she was running right. That was the plan. A solid, responsible, five-minute plan. The saw, apparently, had other plans. She fired right up, sounded great, and the next thing I knew I was two hours deep into cutting with this little beast and had gotten her stuck — not once, but twice — requiring a full rescue operation with my wife as co-pilot. To her credit, she didn't say a word. To my credit, I got the logs cut. This thing is impressively capable for its size. The 25.4CC engine has more attitude than a saw this compact has any right to, and it handles tree work like it's been waiting its whole life for the opportunity. The top handle design makes maneuvering easy, which is probably why I kept telling myself "just one more cut." One minor gripe: the chain has worked itself loose a few times, so keep your wrench handy and check tension before you head out. It's a quick fix, just don't let it catch you off guard mid-cut. Bottom line: if you're looking for a capable, fun little saw that will absolutely sucker you into spending your entire afternoon in the woodlot while your wife periodically rescues you — this is your saw. Zero regrets. Five stars.

Great price, great power.
Added some fuel and bar chain oil. Fired right up with no issues. I put it to a test right out of the box. Took it to a downed tree about 15” thick. It cut through like butter. I then decided to do a plunge cut. It also went straight in like butter. I cut the log into several pieces with not issue. It has plenty of power, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one. We will have to see how it hold up long term.

Difficulties starting but solved
Would not start out of the box. Replaced the spark plug with the equivalent ngk brand and it starts now first pull. Runs and cuts great for what it is!

Surprisingly Good
1. Parts missing...the bumper spikes plate was missing and I am currently trying to get them to send it. If you have any issues Amazon will be of no help, at all. 2. This chainsaw actually did a awesome job cutting. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked for me under 100 dollars. 3. It did take a while to get it started. I'm talking about 15 minutes of pulling. But once it got fired up it ran flawlessly. Understand that there's no returns and no support from Amazon. So you'll be rolling the dice. I didn't win big but I did win. It's a great saw. Would be a 5 star if it would have had all the parts inside the box.

I've been very impressed with Vevor bench and hand tools. I have a few of their tools and found them all not just a great value, but well made. Still, I was a bit skeptical about buying a Vevor chainsaw. I replaced an old Poulan with this Vevor and was blown away. Super easy setup and put it through a full day of clearing Maple after a bad ice storm. First pull start once it's warm. Runs fantastic. Doesn't bog down easily even when you push it hard. The chain did stretch quite a bit after a few hours of hard use but that's typical. Tools were included and came in handy to adjust chain and tighten the bar. Fully recommended. Incredible value.

I would give zero stars if I could. First of all it leaks fuel everywhere no matter how much you tighten it. Next the pull start string has a grommet thats supposed to keep the string in place. First time I used it it wouldent stay running so I had to pull start it 5 or 6 times that grommet popped out and the friction from the string literally melted the housing and cut a 1 inch grove in it. I bought it in the winter time so I hadent tried it untill the other day so I can't even return it. Trash trash trash stay far away. Iam going to connect never about a return amd refund.

Very pleased with this Chainsaw. Assembly was very easy and all tools needed were included. On first use i am impressed. Ive had some of the high end brands and this saw performs right along with them. I will be putting it to the real test soon with cutting firewood. There was some delay in delivery but that was out of the sellers control. They were very helpful in helping to get it to me. And for the price you cant go wrong. Thank you

Overall a great saw. I've ran 15tanks of gas through her. I'm going pretty heavy on oil. Maybe 19:1. Thing makes good power considering the heavy amount of oil. I use this 58cc in tandem with my other 62cc saw for milling. The little saw will do it with a sharp chain. It will take 90% throttle for about 8secs and a break for a few seconds. Breaks between boards. Pretty impressed for a low quality saw. I had issues with carb within 5tanks of gas. Contacted seller and the offered a partial refund for carb I had to replace. I would get rid of those "torch" spark plug. Put a quality unit in and slowly replace the junk parts. The core engine is decent. I honestly expected first day of milling would kill it. A Husqvarna of same cc woukd be $580. Figure $10/cc. Where there's no comparison. We all know instinctively that chinese units are junk. For a home owner, buy this saw. Great saw. Small issues. It leaks bar oil, it seems to leak gas over time. Drain them if not using. Other than that, mix your gas and go.

When the saw arrived i was more then happy with just the protection it had for being shipped without damage . I moved on and assembled what needed to be assembled for the saw and I was quite impressed with the quality of the saw and how easy everything went together. I have been a chainsaw owner for a very long time but I have never been able to fill a chainsaw with gas and bar oil and start it in 2 pulls and have it idle like a boss ...This little saw to me is very impressive. I was very apprehensive to buy it but I am glad I did
