If You Care Parchment Baking Paper, 70 sq ft

Best parchment for Sourdough baking and wrapping. Doesn't burn or stick to your bread! Chlorine free, unbleached, no toxic additives, is compostable, and is reusable. I used a store brand 1X and ruined a sourdough bread when that kind stuck to my loaf. I switched to this brand last year and I swear by it for baking breads, making candy and baking cookies. I also use this paper for wrapping my breads and tie up with string to give them as gifts. For the slight amount more it might be, it's worth it to not ruin 2 days of sourdough fermenting and waiting to bake your bread, then only to have a cheaper parchment stick to it and have to be thrown away. Just get this one, you'll never go back. It's actually cheaper on Amazon than at my local grocery store so with free prime delivery, this is the best quality.

--My favorite parchment baking paper. I much prefer it over the typical rolls of white parchment paper. The width of this paper is a little over a foot- maybe 13", which I think it is little narrower than the typical brands out there, which tend to measure 15" wide. I prefer this size, it suits all of my baking needs thus far, and I have been using this brand for several years. --Brown, Unbleached, and chlorine free. --Microwave safe and oven safe (to 428*F) --Sheets can be reused. --While I typically use it for baking cookies and such, sometimes I use it under meats instead of tin foil. If the sheet gets too wet, it can tear which is not out of the norm. --Some types of parchment paper have a matte side and a shiny side, this is the same on both sides- just basic brown paper that resists sticking. -- the container for the roll is all cardboard. The spot that runs the length of the container that is used to tear the paper is also cardboard; just has an edge to help the paper to tear. This is not perfect. Sometimes it tears easily, other times I find it easier to just grab a pair of scissors. This has never been a hindrance to my purchasing this product, but it could be a turn off for some, especially if used to other brands of bleached paper. --budget friendly. While I don't usually rate based on price (as everyone can determine for themselves what works for their budget), I do like to give a shout out to companies that make it reasonable to purchase their product on an on going basic whether it is purchased in store or on line. I first discovered this product alongside other typical parchment papers on the store shelf. The healthier aspect of it was appealing, as well as look of box, and the price as well. Sometimes it has been a little more than other offerings, sometimes less, but either direction the price has been about the same. This is a good parchment paper that never sticks to food. I can keep my sheet pan always clean. The only complaint is that the box get flimsy over time and it'll be harder to cut off from roll.

Great paper! However, as so many other reviewers complain, the cardboard container is inadequate. So… I reinforced the end edges of the box container with several short strips of painters tape and it now is sufficiently sturdy and functional. Other kinds of tape also probably would work. Another tip: before tearing off the paper, just gently run a finger to align the soft small serrated teeth, then press just before tearing, especially at the beginning, and the paper cuts off as it should. I know, shouldn’t have to do this extra effort, but really takes little time, and the quality of this paper seems well worth it. Still, begs the question, why can’t they just make a better box container that matches this seemingly great parchment paper??

This is the best parchment paper! It actually folds so much easier than the typical parchment paper with plastic in it, so I'm not grappling with it, trying to make it stay down on a baking sheet. It is well-made and high quality. Thank you for making non-toxic parchment paper at a reasonable price!

The box always ends up coming undone but we love the parchment paper and it’s unbleached and natural. Works great and never had any issues with it.

Escolhi este produto para evitar papel branqueado e porque prefiro a opção em rolo (em que posso cortar à medida desejada) em vez de folhas. Funciona bem. Única observação: a lâmina para cortar o papel é completamente inútil. É preferível abrir a embalagem no topo para ser mais fácil de guardar.

Item was crumpled...impossible to cut the baking paper using its so-called 'new paper cutter'...
