I bought this for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Main reason: can use accessories such as handle and filter adapter to make my shooting easy. What I love about the case 1. Very strong magnetic mount. This is a nice surprise. It is much stronger than iphone's build in magsafe mount. The benefit is when I mag mount the phone to video cage, it is much more stable 2. Steady your shooting in horizontal position. I don't like the new iPhone camera control button. It is really difficult to press if you hold the phone in one hand and shoot horizontally. The handle is a big help. 3. If you use car dash mount to hold the phone, the handle can remain attached without getting in the way. You can also easily remove the handle with one click. What I think it can improve? Include a 67 mm filter adapter ring. Currently you will need to buy it separately but it is not expensive.

As usual, small rig products are good but I have a complain about asking users to buy ton of other mounts to get this to work as intended. Why not just include with the case and name the price?

Works great as a photography case for my 16 Pro Max when I added on the 17mm threaded adapter plate, however the removable grip feels a little awkward to hold when not attaching it to a tripod which is why I deducted a star.

Honestly I really wanted to like this case. It had everything I needed for a decent price but when I tried to use the t-mount filter adapter it leaves space between the lens and the camera lens that lets light in. Even worse the included handle basically just a cheap piece of plastic (no camera button) and not really that comfortable to hold the phone with. Plus it makes it difficult to reach and use the camera button properly. Considering how tight of a cutout the camera button has. It is it doesn't offer enough room for your finger to properly take a picture without shaking the phone and depending on how you're holding the phone especially with the included handle can be difficult to properly use the camera button sometimes. Also the case feels uncomfortable in the hand considering it has somewhat sharp corners instead of rounded like my normal case, that kind of dig into your hand as you hold it. Doesn't feel as comfortable as my other case I purchased. Plus as you're taking video or pictures it does get quite hot not sure if that's considering the material and you just feel the heat more but I know I feel it more when I use this case then my normal case. Unfortunately I will be returning and purchasing from a different company. I do have to say the magnets for the magsafe are very strong when combined with a magsafe handle. Definitely disappointing overall...

The FilMov case, grip, and lens backing plate should be at the top of anyone’s list if they are considering iPhone filmmaking gear. To be honest, I’m surprised that such quality is available at such a low cost.

Buena calidad y ajuste. La uso con el adaptador de Smallrig para filtros imantados y va de lujo. El imán del MagSafe también va perfecto. La empuñadura es cómoda y viene con la rosca para poner el móvil en un trípode.

Kit complet pour améliorer la prise en main de l’iPhone 16 pro Max en mode photo. La coque est fine et compatible Mag Safe. Elle protège très bien les optiques. La poignée est géniale pour une prise en main à l’horizontal. Et le nouveau bouton photo est plus accessible et utilisable d’une main. Il y a un pas de vis pour le monter sur un trépied. Le support objectif permet de monter des accessoires de la même marque. Je suis très agréablement surprise par cet ensemble.

Nice piece of kit that was on sale for a bargain price that’s pretty much the cost of many budget phone cases on here. The phone case alone is well made and functional coming with the relevant fitments (well, 2 out of 4 isn’t bad) for various lens/filter attachments. Have since purchased the other ‘missing’, or rather, excluded fitments to cover my range of filters and lenses I’ve built up over the years. Fits the phone snugly with no looseness in a shake test and the locking mechanism for the attachments fits perfectly well too. Highly recommended. The hand grip attachment which I thought I would probably never use has already proved its worth. Surprisingly useful in its own unexpected way.

Actualización Agosto 2025 Mal diseño al colocar pequeñas gomas en el area de conexión del lente. Tres de varios que adquiri ya no tienen una o las dos "gomitas" que dan fricción al lente para que no quede "bailando. Se despegan, uno no se da cuenta por lo que se pierden. ------- Buena idea. Mal Diseño de la agarradera, no es tan ergonómica es muy lisa y suave no tiene un buen agarre. Estaría genial le hubieran puesto un disparador bluetooth ya que el botón cámara del iphone esta mal ubicado muy lejos del alcance de la mano. —— Compra 100% segura SmallRig empresa seria y comprometida en ofrecer un excelente servicio al cliente.
