Actionable Lesson Plans!
Teaching fluency can feel like a nebulous task. So often, the advice is just repeated readings (especially timed readings). I've felt that there must be more we can do. Good resources for teaching fluency
I teach Key Stage 2. There's an increased focus on fluency at the moment (see the latest Reading Framework and Ofsted subject review!) and this book has ideal texts and strategies. It is quite American, so I'd say if you teach in a British school, choose your extracts carefully and type them out to ensure they have the correct spellings.
