Here's why I rated so low: 1.) CONSISTANT MALFUNCTIONS 2.) CONSISTANT CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS 3.) RUSTING PARTS 4.) INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL IS NOT ACCURATE TO WHAT IT SHOULD BE What was the problem with the product? Answer: a. There were too many annoying issues to constantly unable to solve minor issues; therefore, I had to watch approximately 10 videos online as to what the issue could be. b. Had to constantly take apart and put it back together > resulting with malfunctions that would not be able to fix it self. c. Being a tech person myself and understanding that there can be underlying issues, the configuration and the coding for the sensors are absolute trash. d. It is not worth the money that it displays when you look into this product. Was buying the product worth it? Answer: No, it is not worth your money for the amount of constant issues and malfunctions. ( Yes, I say this once again > It is a horrible product ). Even some of the parts were rusting because you "aren't supposed to twist the deodorizer too "tight"; therefore, the liquid leaked". What are my thoughts? Answer: If I could tell anybody off of the street or any pet store that would want to sell this, I would let them know they are making a huge mistake and a horrible choice. I would rather pay the Litter-robot 4 (TOP TIER AUTOMATIC CLEANING LITTER BOX ON THE MARKET) than for my money to be spent on this ridiculous product. When it comes to making someone's life smooth and livable with buying things on amazon, this product will test your emotions and regret pressing the amazon button "ADD TO CART". I have wasted ENDLESS amounts of hours trying to fix this "so called..AMAZING AUTOMATIC LITTER BOX", and the past 5 days, I literally regretted every choice that I had made and breathe. I look into products for quality, effectivity, long-term life and I would lose a breath for this product. I REPEAT: THIS IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME > DO NOT BUY THIS > IT TERRIBLE > THIS WILL NOT MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER. ** There will be no update in this post as I am truly and utterly pissed off.

I am so happy with this litter box. My cat adapted to it super quick and from the first day, he abandoned his previous litter box immediately and used this box with no problem. It made my life much easier. It controls the odor really good and as a bonus, I can keep an eye on my cat's weight and the number of litter box usage. It is easy to take it apart and wash, though since the drum is bulky, it is kind of hard to handle it if you wash it on the bathroom. It is easy to wash with pressured water, though it has some hard to reach spots. Mostly I use wipes to spot clean, and only wash it when it is really dirty. Anither thing that you need to pay attention is "empty litter" function. If the litter box is full, the dump box cannot hold all of it and it will spill over. So, use this function when the litter is around minimum level. The box can handle this amount no problem. Make sure that the litter box is on a rigid surface. If you use it on carpet, it won't detect your cat properly and so the auto clean mode won't work. I used a office chair mat under the box and it works perfectly fine. Although the entrance is low enough, a small step at the entrance would be better. I put a generic step at the entrance and it made it easier for my cat to get in. This is not a must, but good to have. Over all, I am very happy with it. It made both my life and may cat's life easier.

I have the older style feeders and was disappointed they changed to the removable steel bowls after I got them. Thank goodness this is an option to upgrade. We also find our ceramic dishes fit nicely in the holder for between washing use.

Tenho a versão antiga deste comedouro e sempre achei que lhe faltava uma taça de metal, porque é menos prejudicial do que o plástico. Comprei a taça nova e adapta-se perfeitamente ao comedouro antigo! A parte de plástico é magnética, encaixa perfeitamente no comedouro e fica no sítio. A taça de metal sai facilmente para lavagem. Torna-se também um pouco mais pequena do que a que vinha com o meu comedouro. Não podia estar mais contente com esta compra! Recomendo.
