Pedal Grip Strips Variety Pack

The Xpnd pedal grips are a quick and easy way to secure your guitar pedals to a board. Inside the box comes a nice variation of strips that can affix the pedal to the board of your choice. Made of Velcro, these can be mounted on any smooth surface. The Velcro is pretty strong and you can trim the excess off so it will fit perfectly and also not show if you don't want it to. Because they are made from velcro it allows for easy access to the battery. A plus: The long strips with loops, can serve as straps to place the cable in and around the board without getting in your way while you play, and/or organize your guitar cables. And there's a variety of sizes within the box to choose from. Check out the Xpnd by D’addario strips out. You won't be disappointed.

First off you only get the hook side of the Velcro tabs with this set, not the loop side at all, if your like me I like to put the soft loop side on my pedals so if I remove them from my pedal board, they want stick to carpet etc. with these one don't have that option and it would be nice if it had both for new pedal board builds, a major over site with the design of this set, now if you place the hook side on your pedals you will be fine with this set if you already have Velcro on your pedal board, you can use this set alone you need extra Velcro.

Did a great job at securing my bass pedal and didn't leave a bunch of residue on the drum after taking it off. Easy to use, good value, works exactly as expected. Definitely recommend these.

With their new pedalboard line, D'Addario is branching out into some smaller accessories like this. These are thoughtfully designed. You could, of course, just slap any random piece of hook velcro onto a pedal and call it a day, and I have quite a few second hand pedals like that, and they work fine. These are generally sized well for guitar pedals, and are shaped to leave the corners open where may pedals will have screws, so they are still accessible, which is great. The large size is a bit small for a double pedal, but still seems ample. They are easy to apply to your pedal, and stick quite well to my pedalboard, and you aren't stuck with a bunch of loop side, which tends to already be covered by the pedalboard itself. The kit I got had stickers for mini pedals, standard pedals, and larger pedals, as well as velcro cable ties, which would be useful on a pedalboard as well, to keep power supplies contained mostly, but also the longer runs of patch cable for double rows. It isn't the cheapest option, but it is a very good option for keeping your pedals secure.

These strips are nicely shaped to fit pedals and to connect to the D'Addario XPND pedal boards. You can just remove the backing and attach them to pedals. Also included are strips to organize power or patch cables and attach them onto the pedal board. Honestly, these are a bit pricey for what they do. Most pedal boards (including D'Addario's own boards) come with velcro strips which you can trim and size exactly for each pedal, so the expense of this kit for attaching very few pedals with pre-cut strips is really not a good value.
