This was a breeze to set up on a new full fibre connection. Getting great wifi coverage - router is on upstairs landing and easily covers 4 rooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. Much better coverage than my old router.

Much better router than my TP9300. Price was excellent too. In fact my upload and download speeds are higher too. Great user interface and tremendous WiFi coverage. Great piece of kit Netgear, thank you. Highly recommended.

Title: RS300 Nighthawk Description: The Wi-Fi coverage is better than with my previous router. It was simple to set up although the App, is a bit flakey and several attempts were required to complete the setup. So far it has been very stable and produced no errors.

The app to setup and interface with this router (yep, an app!!) crashes at random points during the 'setup' process so unable to proceed that way. If you attempt to use the IP address to interface via a browser it simply says that a 'Version 4 browser' is required. The internet appears to have as much idea about what that is as I do (the closest match is version 4 of a google browser released in 2012!). So, in summary: 1 - Costly. 2 - Questionable security (phones are easier to hack or access than a properly configured pc). 3 - Non-functional and demanding either a non-existent browser upgrade or potentially a new smartphone (who'd have thought it, a US tech company forcing the early and unnecessary replacement of hardware...). 4 - Even on the odd occasion the app connected with the router it insisted that the SSID/password combo for wifi provided with it and on the label on the device) were invalid. Unable to comment on the other things the Amazon AI suggests as I was entirely unable to test range, connectivity, coverage or stability. Plug and play this is not. Re-boxed and being returned. Will not consider netgear again.

This router is fantastic! Anyone sitting on the fence about this—perhaps due to experience with an older Netgear model or concerns about the higher-priced options—should know that the 300 is excellent. It supports BT's PPPoE connection (as I am in the UK) and delivers near-full package speeds over Wi-Fi. Most of my PCs are hardwired for the office, so they benefit from the 2.5Gb LAN port, which can easily connect to a switch. I don’t find the complaints others mention about ads in the control panel to be an issue; they are likely just promoting their own products. The interface includes only what you need and is very easy to use. The ping is fantastic for gaming. I have minor ocd not diagnosed but I dont like changing brands that have been reliable for me in past this router fits the bill for me.

Have been using for a month and very pleased. WiFi speeds great and my Ethernet devices stable and consistently fast. On a 900 fibre getting 930. Have a normal 4 bedroom house and coverage good. Would have preferred the RS500 for even better coverage but to be honest signal good throughout and as house networked Ethernet plus WiFi covers everything

Title: Upgraded from a Box 2 Description: So I just upgraded from the Bit Defender Box 2 to this multi Gig wifi router. (RS300) Out of the box it all looks great. Set up was very easy, much easier than the Box 2 but you would expect this from a later model. The reason for my upgrade was that my Box 2 wifi could only handle 500mb wifi speeds and being on a 1 gig provider I wanted to utilize those speeds on my wifi network. Unfortunately so far the results are disappointing. On the first few days after set up my laptop was getting 750mb speeds on wifi but my phone (Z Fold 6) could only get 3-400mbs. I tried everything without any improvements. I have now had mt new RS300 nearly 2 weeks and my laptop speed is now down to 426mb! My phone is now down to 52mbs! I am still getting 929mbs from my internet provider. So the jury is still out at the moment as to whether this upgrade was worth it or not but I am not happy with the results so far.

I have had this a few days now and I am really impressed with the signal throughout the house. It’s very impressive. The router was easy to set up in the app and after initial set up and a software upgrade it was ready To go in 20 minutes start to finish

La qualità Netgear a prezzo ragionevole. Ho avuto un modem ADSL Netgear che ha funzionato benissimo tutti giorni dal 2019, inutile dire che ho un'opinione positiva di questo marchio. Questo router si collega senza difficoltà a tutti i miei apparecchi connessi in casa (prese meross, smart TV Sony, telefonini vari, tablet Samsung, piano ibrido Kawai, batterie Bluetti ... ecc ...). Lo consiglio.

Valt regelmatig uit. Oogt softwarematig 'beta'/onvolwassen. Voor dit geld verwacht je 'perfect', en dit is een ding dat je constant aan het resetten bent en dan dit weer heeft en dan dat weer heeft.

Der Router bittet eine gute Reichweite und stabile Verbindung . Für die Inbetriebnahme empfehle ich nicht das APP sondern nach Verbindungsherrstellung die Option "Ich habe kein passendes Smartphone " dann geht es auf dem Bildschirm weiter. Manche Elemente sind schlecht erkennbar und nur nach anklicken mit der Maus zu bearbeiten. Anschluss anderer Geräte gehen nach Initiierung des Routers problemlos. Der Router benötigt fürs Internet ein externes Modem ( Fritz Box Kabel etwa )

Find router men dålig signal, har installerat i hallen och min rum ligger nära men har dålig wifi signal, förlorar internet hela tiden när jag spelar. Så det blir mycket lag på spelet. Jag ska be om att lämna tillbaka produkten.
