Love the controller. No stick drift and it’s nice to be able to adjust the l2 &R2 pull. Halifax joy stick feel amazing. The only thing that could make is better is mouse click buttons. The only con is that the buttons are not marked like the triangle square circle and X but this is not a issue for me.

I dont know exactly know why but the way the controller feels in my hand is different than the standard PS5 Controller. It feels uncomfortable. Its given me terrible hand cramps. the back button layout isnt the greatest. Im kind of disappointed with the overall feel. Its built well just disappointed it doesnt work for my hands, at this price point.

Hexgaming support refuses to respond to emails requesting any warranty or repairs. Not even acknowledging receipt of my emails. My son misplaced the calibration connector and there is no way to purchase a replacement on their website. I even offered to pay for any repairs not covered by my warranty period. After two months of normal use the right stick has horrible drift worse than any controller I have ever purchased. Their customer support system is flawed and seems to be automated based on their own website direct sales and maintenance service numbers tied to those purchases. They don’t seem to handle legitimate retail sales like Amazon under the parameters of their automated system. I have respectfully emailed their customer support directly multiple times. Worst controller purchase and worst Christmas present I have ever given my son. After 20 plus years, I have never felt the need to write a review for an Amazon purchase until now.

I had used there previous Hex PS5 pro controller and I was a fan of the the triggers but after three months of use the left stick had developed stick drift and I broke the left back paddle after 6 months through regular use. I now use the PS5 Edge controller since it's release and I had no reliability issues with them. My only gripe with the Duelsense edge was the short setting for the triggers didn't feel short enough to me I preferred the old Hexgaming PS5 controller triggers they had a good snap to them. I thought the Phantom clicky triggers would be nice but it wasnt for me I still prefer the snappiness of hex's previous controller and the 4 back buttons are clicky buttons as well but I honestly prefer paddles over the buttons because paddle give better feedback and activates more reliable when spammed compared to the back buttons. I think if the back buttons and the triggers on short setting had just a little more give in them I'd keep this controller but I decided to return it. I haven't had this controller long enough to use their solution for stick drift but I'm sure it works. Again this controller is not bad I've decided to return because it didn't fit my preferences.

If you’re trying to find the best controller out there - this is it. Apart from defects, this is better than the scuff, aim, edge, & elite (Xbox) controllers in terms of response, dead zone, trigger stops, and back button placement. My only complaint is that you only get one short dome stick. I would like two as it is the best option

Way over priced….i returned it and bought the razer raiju v3 pro which is cheaper and a much better controller.

Edit: Mi primera reseña fue a los 2 meses de uso (leer abajo). Ahora han pasado 8, y me sigue funcionando perfectamente. No he vuelto a utilizar mi DualSense normal ni el Edge para ningún juego desde que lo compré, y mi Phantom no ha tenido ni una sola falla en todo este tiempo. Cabe mencionar que lo uso con bastante regularidad, y todo está perfecto. He alternado con frecuencia entre el modo instantáneo y el normal de los gatillos, y ningún detalle ha tenido. Desde juegos tranquilos como Astro Bot hasta juegos de acción/aventura como God of War o Spiderman hasta juegos muy rápidos y de mucha adrenalina como Returnal. Estoy muy satisfecho con esta compra y aliviado de que, al parecer, mi control sí parece que va a durar un buen tiempo. Reseña original: Amo este control, pero el primero que compré tenía un falso contacto en el botón L1, por lo que lo devolví y compré otro. Este segundo ya funciona bien, aunque cuando presionaba cualquiera de las palancas, sonaba... "frágil" por dentro. Como si la posibilidad de presionarlos fuerte fuera hacer que se rompiera o algo. 2 meses después, eso no ha sucedido, y ahora ya no se escucha lo "frágil". Quizá no estaba bien ensamblado? No lo sé, pero hasta ahora funciona bien y lo siento hasta mejor que cuando lo compré, por lo que estoy satisfecho y feliz porque es excelente. Ya funcionando bien, esta es mi reseña: Tenía el DualSense Edge y me gustaba mucho, pero con el paso de los juegos me di cuenta que tener solo 2 botones traseros no me era suficiente, yo quería cuatro pero no había muchas opciones en el mercado. Quiero resaltar que yo no soy un jugador competitivo, ni siquiera juego shooters. Juego aventura y acción, y tener los botones atrás me libera el pulgar de la palanca derecha para mover la cámara sin perder la inmersión del juego. Por eso opté por este control, la marca es conocida, y entonces confíe. Desde el momento que me llegó sentí lo premium que es. Es muy cómodo, es prácticamente el mismo control que viene de fábrica con el ps5, pero con una empuñadora que lo hace más cómodo y fácil de agarrar. Los botones traseros están en la posición perfecta, son los mejores que he sentido. También son muy agradables al presionarlos. Algo que también me gusta son los gatillos adaptables que funcionan igual que el dualsense normal, entonces todos los juegos que hacen uso de eso funcionan perfectamente aquí. Y cuando le cambies el modo a que sean de un solo "click", es impresionante, de verdad se convierten en botones prácticamente instantáneos. También, las palancas son muuuuy cómodas, tienen algo que hace que colocar el dedo ahí se sienta muy satisfactorio. Son mis palancas favoritas. De lo demás, tiene la misma retroalimentación háptica del dualsense, y la pila es incluso mejor que el Edge, el cual dura más o menos 5 horas, y éste Phantom dura al rededor de 8. Yo tengo de por sí la estación de carga oficial de PlayStation, y el control se puede colocar ahí sin problemas. En mi opinión, el concepto es perfecto. Es lo que debió ser el DualSense Edge porque tienen lo mismo, pero el Phantom tiene 2 botones traseros adicionales y mejor batería. Lo único que me hace extrañar del Edge es el software. Si eres de los que cambia a cada rato de juego, tendrás que manualmente ir uno por uno de los 6 perfiles que tiene hasta que encuentres el que programaste para ese juego, a diferencia del Edge que su software permite elegir el perfil muuuy rápido. Pero es algo menor. En conclusión, me encanta el control y la verdad no me veo regresando a usar el DualSense normal ni el Edge. Quizá el Edge solo por la nostalgia porque también es cómodo, pero me gusta demasiado el Phantom. Pero le pongo 4 estrellas porque tuve que hacer cambio por un segundo control y ambos han tenido algún "pero" que me hace preguntarme si durarán un buen tiempo antes de morir, lo cual sería muy lamentable considerando el precio. Supongo que habrá que averiguarlo. Actualizaré esta reseña cada cierto tiempo para contarles qué tal va.

El control se ve y se siente muy bien. A excepción de los botones traseros, al interactuar con ellos en partida, eran tan sensibles y poco perceptibles que no funcionaban como deberían de funcionar…
