Product came quickly, and was exactly as expected. The bottle was full to the brim. Takes 4 hours or so to fully hydrate, and they will shrink back down to original size if removed from water, making them reusable if not broken. They can be fragile, as you would expect from any hydrogel product, so you just have to handle gently. I've used them in a jar for plants, they won't break if you aren't playing with them.

Beads break easily.

Product arrived damaged with a broken container and beads spilled out all over the shipping bag. This couldn’t be used as a gift, so we used it at home instead. Beads are not at all durable and fall to pieces during play. We have had just one day and every time my kids play in the beads, they come out covered in “slop” ( pieces of the broken beads, slimed all over their body). They are fun but definitely not durable or quality. Pictures show a little...

I used this as a craft with my ten-year-old daughter and we really enjoyed them. We poured about half a cup into a balloon then filled the balloon with water and watched the beads expand. It doesn't take too many of these water beads for our little experiments so we have a lot left. Most importantly my daughter had fun with them.
