ATN Thermal Scoop
Very well packaged. Sealed in plastic to ensure it was not a used returned product. Good quality. This is a thermal scoop. I already have a day/night ATN scoop. Like it very much. Would recommend it for anyone wanting a good quality thermal scoop.

Buy A Rix Storm 3 instead
Buy a RIX Storm 3 instead. Waaaayyyyy better in every way. Had to return it because one-shot zero .... never zeroed, Rix has so much crisper image. The thor, for the price, not worth it. So much better out there.

Pretty Good
I actually like this scope a lot, although there are a couple of things that could be better. It’s easy to zero and fairly easy to use overall. The image quality isn’t bad unless it’s zoomed in, and it’s very cool to be able to see at night and especially cool to look at animals which show up well. I have not hunted with it but where I use it I can see mice running around at night at 100 yards. I recommend using this model for intended ranges of less than 200 yards because the image does get pretty blurry when you zoom in, although you can definitely tell your looking at a deer/coyote/etc at 500 yards, just without enough detail to make shots precisely. That’s what you get if you pay for the 640 model and up. This really doesn’t have any optical zoom, only digital. The menu is not that easy to read. You only have one eye to read the information and it’s difficult to focus on the corners/edges of the viewfinder, for example I have to look through at an angle to read the battery percentage in the upper right corner. The buttons are a little difficult to use without looking at them, there isn’t much tactile difference between them and they are all right next to each other, so you can’t really tell which button you are pressing without taking your eyes off the target and looking at the top of the scope, although I’ve gotten better at it over time. The most significant shortcoming of this scope, and my reason for rating 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the overall build quality, specifically the electronic connections and components, are not as durable and high quality as they should be. I have read this from others when researching this scope online, and it is true. It has worked fine for two weeks and approximately 250 rounds of 300 win mag, but last night it started to shut off suddenly after a shot. I have read that people have disassembled their scopes to find shoddy soldering connections which they easily fixed but I’m not comfortable doing that, so if this problem persists I will need to send it back to the manufacturer. Besides that, I have been using it mostly in near freezing to below freezing temperatures, and at the lower temps the buttons can stop working too. Unfortunately this is a common problem with all consumer electronics today, namely they are manufactured cheaply in china, I was just hoping that would not be the case with a $2k+ scope. Overall though, I’ve been pretty happy with it and I’m still glad that I bought it.

ATN ThOR 5 LRF 320
Just got this scope and am thoroughly pleased so far. Charged up, registered, set up preferences, etc. and everything is great so far. It comes with rings but I bought the quick detach mount for it. Haven't hunted with it yet but have used checked out my livestock with it and am excited to get out in the field with it. Called customer service with a question and got right through and my question answered on the spot, so happy with that as well.
