Worth Every Penny
This is fabulous! After total knee replacement, I was struggling with stairs. I have a railing on only one side of my stairs. This device is much sturdier than a regular cane. It’s like having a railing on both sides. And, best of all, it can be adjusted to the height and depth of your stairs, as well as the height of the person. The physical therapists at the rehab facility liked it so much, they wanted to get one to use there. This is worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed.

So much easier than a regular cane on the stairs, much more stable
I don’t know how others bent their stair canes but this was a game changer after having surgery for the third time on my knee. My good knee was buckling too and I was afraid of using the stairs but with this device I was able to go up and down stairs much easier and much earlier than expected. I was even able to use it to get to my other walking aids by tilting it back a bit and using like a regular cane from the steps to where my walker/other cane were.

Looks like good idea until you find out just how unsafe it is
Does not sit flush on steps and moved while elderly cancer pressed on it to use step and lost balance and twisted ankle. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL unless wanting a lawsuit.

Stair cane is easy to assemble and works well
Instructions were easy to follow and it was simple to put together. The level of adjustability to accommodate different types of stairs is excellent and it works quite well. Having two different places to hold is actually more convenient than I thought it would be. This is excellent for home use, but probably not practical for going out as it would need to be adjusted for each different type of step.

Wobbly and cheap, don't bother
Two stars because the idea is good and I can't find anything else like it, but unfortunately it ended up being a waste of money. I bought it to use after getting knee surgery, but it was so wobbly that I didn't feel safe using it.I have standard height/depth indoor stairs and yet it was impossible to adjust this to an even height parallel to the steps -- it was either tilting slightly back or slightly forward. One of the two feet was also crooked, making the whole thing less stable than it should be. The metal looks sturdy in the pictures but in reality is pretty light and flimsy. I tried putting my weight on it to go up the stairs but it was wobbling and swaying. I would not recommend.

A very satisfying purchase!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My mother has bad knees, so it's always hard for her to go up and down the stairs. The bottom is stable and non-slip, the armrests are height-adjustable, ergonomic, and feel good. It's really great!
