The sultan's advisor, the evil Jafar (Jonathan Freeman), who is hatching a plot to marry Jasmine and become sultan himself, senses her attraction to the youth and immediately gives orders to throw Aladdin in jail. Aladdin is an entirely different spin on the fairy tale genre mainly focusing on the hero rather than the heroine perspective. Genie(Robin Williams)steals the film as Disneys' most fabulous and hilarious creation ever!!! a very remarkable film that matches the likes of The Lion king, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty & The Beast. it is visually stunning and is full of pop culture references throughout. and to top it all off...it was released on the year i was born. Our Grandchildren love it
Bought this edition for our grandchildren age 3 and 5 and they really love the Disney film Aladdin. It is such good family entertainment and with the bonus of extras on this two disc edition. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

Bought this for the grandkids. They love watching all the disney movies.

This is a classic. Robin Williams is the only reason to purchase and hold onto this early Disney film. I say early because animation has advanced so much since this film was done, that the fabulous repartee of Robin Williams makes it worth having. The animation can hardly keep up with his spokenl antics. It would be good to see if this one redone. They wouldn't have to change his vocal acting, just redo and animation so that it is not flat.

Love enjoying how he wanted to be someone hes not and became a well changed person when he met jasmine and tge genie. And the genie made him the prince to get into the palace to fall in love with jasmine . But his second wish didn't happen until genie was free when sultan changed the law permanently

It met more than our expectations. We had this when my children were small. I bought this for my grandchildren. They truly are enjoying this.

Good film and one of Disneys best. I took my nieces to see the stage play and it was equally as enjoyable.
