If you are a fan of Questyle products, then you will love this product. If the m18i and the M15i are the big brother ess based dacs, then this M15C is the little brother that packs a punch. If you just want something very easy yet engaging to listen to, if you are not necessarily an audio file but you want to give your headphones the best shot at presenting music to your ears then get this dongle. The sound coming out of this thing was so smooth and Rich. In many ways it very much reminds me of a cheaper version of the IFI audio go bar. (without the xbass or xspace.) When I tried to compare it to some of the other dongles in my possession to be honest I found myself just listening to music losing Myself in how great it sounded. Is it as analytical as some of the other ones no it's not but it's more engaging and Musical than some of the other dongles.. Ka13, 15 and 17. Ru7, go blue, go bar just to name a few. I found myself getting lost in the music way more than I do some of the other products that I've owned. To me this was very important because for once as opposed to listening to my new details to figure out what separates this from that, I lost myself to just listening to the music. When a product does that to you you know you got a winner. So if you just want something that plays music well that will make your head Bob to the beat of the song or where you can hear the weight of the vocals in an acoustic track then please give this dongle a try. Side note I realize that headphone pairing with some of these dongles people don't always talk about but I'm going to talk about it real quick. If you are an owner of Meze audio products to be truthful this dongle well none of the ones that I mentioned to be honest pair well with their headphones. I have tried them with the 99 Neo and classic and I found that they did not sound great with any of the dongles that I have in my home including the IFI audio Gryphon. Any other headphone I think pairs great . From hifiman to Audeze. I tried the M15 with the he 4xx, he6se v2, Ananda Nano, audeze lcd-gx, and many more including iems, and they all sounded wonderful. So at that price I encourage you guys to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I am really quite amazed at the sound quality coming out of this little DAC headphone amplifier. I have them paired with a set of Hifiman Sandara headphones.

Very nice, two peas in a pod with Audio Technica. Soundstage feels powered, stiff instrument presentation. My only grip is it cuts out after about 15 min. Trouble shooting i am confident it’s the 3.5 input of the dac. Relatively new low hours and beginning to fail.

I was introduced to the concept of DAC amps by a friend, who has been an audiophile for years. I have always liked music, and thought the Cd's were the greatest invention. However, I have noticed that it is difficult getting my 80's music to sound the way it did in the 80's with cassettes and LP records. Some of the song is crystal clear digital sound, while details get muddy in the middle. Music indeed has a resolution not unlike digital photos. So at lower resolutions (lower bitrate) music loses detail. These devices uses microprocessors and circuitry and some magic to convert from digital to analog, while setting free some of the captured details left out by the binary code digital playback. Who knows how they do it, but it works. It works better if you use the highest bitrate music you can access on your budget. One of the benefits I have experienced, is less listening fatigue. I thing my hears would get tired of being bombarded with square waves and harsh digital playback. Whereas with this DAC and can once again listen to music for hours at a time. I was also able to hook up the DAC output to my JBL PartyBox and listen to my music amplified in my house. Finally, I also had the idea to output my ROKU audio through this Questyle M15c DAC and it real brought out the voice audio, which I find gets lost in the 5.1 or 7.1 Dolby Theater mix we have become accustomed to listen to while viewing Television and Movies. I am hoping to get an invite to Amazon Vine, so I can do more reviews like this, so keep listening folks. I paid for this with my own money, and it was well worth it. Let me know if you guys want to see how I was able to hook this DAC up to ROKU audio, it is tricky, so I can share a video if there is some interest.

Love it. I make no claims of being an audiophile, but produce & engineer and have developed an increasing appreciation for quality audio over the years... and am seriously impressed with this. Didn't even know these types of DACs were a thing until recently and can't believe how crappy my old setup sounds in comparison now, haha. Using mostly with Sony WH1000-MX5 on Samsung phone, sometimes Audio Technica ATH-M50X - and with the Wavelet app on Android that has the custom EQ curves for each pair to get to a Harman balanced profile - the combo of that EQ curve and this DAC is UNBELIEVABLE. Night & day. Continually blown away every time I listen. Did a deep dive on options with ChatGPT and went with this as seemed great value with the slightly warmer analog character idea like, kinda at the threshold of diminishing returns for what'd get at higher prices... quite satisfied. UNTIL... UPDATE: it DIED. hadn't used in couple months as bought a Hiby R4, was just sitting in briefcase, and when went back to use... NADA. light briefly on when plug in then nothing. so about 3-4 months use then DEAD. and Questyle support....???? if anyone knows how to actually get a response from them, please lemme know. cuz zero replies after 3 weeks of emailing them. this is supposed to come with a year warranty... which essentially means nothing if can't actually get ahold of the company. woulda HIGHLY recommended until this point. may come back to change this review and recommend IF actually do eventually hear back from the company and get a proper replacement under warranty.
