Euro Ceramica Zanzibar Collection 16 Piece Dinnerware Set Kitchen and Dining, Service for 4, Spanish Floral Design, Multicolor, Blue and Yellow

Beautiful, colorful, warm and sturdy casual ceramic dinnerware. These are well made with a gorgeous & durable underglaze paint that brighten up my kitchen & living room. Everyone I've served in my home, whether dinner, snacks or a cup of tea, has commented on how pretty they are. They're thick, heavy, but not burdensome, microwave and dishwasher safe (although the ceramic gets hotter than cheap brands, so use a microwave bowl-cozy or pot holders). I've had them more than a year and use them every single day and they haven't worn or faded. They still look like I just took them out of the box! Highly recommend!

**2 years later, an update** So this is a first for me - 2 years after purchase but I’m literally using our sole “chipped” cup & was jazzed enough that I felt compelled to update my review bc I wholeheartedly support this store/brand/seller/product. My cup is also full of gin & fruity bits but I didn’t have to tell you that! I find so much crap on Amazon that I don’t trust - do you know how many items have obviously mis-sized photoshopping & the seller doesn’t even care??? Pfffz. I have 2 teenagers who *still* just throw my cast iron pots & pans literally ON TOP of these plates & mugs (they balance a heavy pot on them in the sink like jerks) - nothing. I no longer panic about this. Heavier things in life to worry about. The mugs are a little chunky (but great for gin & water!); we have one bowl that has had a small chip on it for 2 years (also - still - holds a pile of skillets/pans/plates/cups/silver on it). The plates are a hit, they still make everyone happy. Feels like everyone’s a lot more pleasant & behaved when we use them. Haven’t lost a single piece, nothing has actually broken & literally there is one bowl that has been chipped for 2 years - with a small chip - and a mug that has a tiny nick that literally no one else but me notices. TLDR/ as far as dishware goes, you’d be an idiot to turn these down :) Original Post***Loved them so much, I bought a second set in case something happens over time. My new favourite plate set. I’m picky about thickness & art detail...oftentimes complicated designs are gaudy or halfassed. This set is even more beautiful in person. We use them daily, they go in the microwave, dishwasher, the kids pile pots, pans and all sorts of heavy dishware on them inside the sink - I'm always anxious they’ll break, but luck has held out & I still have a full set. The artwork is very well designed, the overlaying glaze isn’t thick and gross, it’s just perfect. One bowl has a tiny chip (kids) and we still use it. Breakable of course but I’m amazed how well they’ve held up against my teens. I’m not in love with the mugs, they’re thicker than I’d like, but I bought the set for the plates and bowls. Rarely do I find joy in material objects (or leave reviews) but I really do enjoy this set. Def an investment I’m happy to have made.

I love these dishes!!!! They are so pretty and bright. They are our “everyday” dishes and each time I set the table it is a celebration. They are sturdy, chip resistant and completely dishwasher safe. With some many colors in the pattern, you won’t have any problem matching table linens. I have ordered every piece offered in this pattern. It all makes my kitchen and table bright. And it is a very good value.

We purchaed two sets of the gorgeous Zanzibar Euro collection. They were absolutely stunning until they faded to nearly white. I am sorry we bought these.

I need color in my life! I bought the pasta bowls 3 years ago and use them every chance I get. Not a break or chip, despite the hard usage by family members. So I bought the canister set. And now I finally bought 12 place settings and it makes me happy simply to open my cabinet doors. I can't figure it out a very few negative reviews here, alluding to not being worth the absolutely reasonable price. This is a gorgeous set. Period. I even considering another 4 place settings as we have large dinner parties. I promise you won't be sorry.

Cons: Quality is Below Average: The overall quality of the dinnerware feels cheap. The plates and bowls are not as sturdy as I would expect for the price, and they feel fragile. I’m concerned about them chipping or breaking with regular use. Designs Are Blurry: The Spanish floral designs, while colorful, are not very sharp or clear. They look a bit blurry and faded, which is disappointing, especially for a set that looks like it should have intricate detailing. The patterns don’t have the crisp, clean look I was hoping for. Overpriced for the Quality: Given the quality of the materials and the blurry designs, I feel that the set is overpriced. There are other dinnerware sets out there with much better quality for the same or lower price. Final Thoughts: While the Euro Ceramica Zanzibar Collection has a bright, fun design, the quality just doesn’t meet expectations for the price. The blurry patterns and flimsy feel make this set a bit of a letdown. If you’re looking for durable, high-quality dinnerware, I would recommend exploring other options. For the price, this set just doesn’t deliver the value I expected.

Did you get to an age where your done with hand me down dishes and want to choose your own style? Well this is the best place ever to choose from. They have so much patterns and styles. This is my favourite and I had to have them. Now I just have to complete the set with the matching canisters and mixing bowls!! Great quality!! Amazing colours!!

Lo único malo que tengo para decir es que no hay una versión de juego de 6 unidades de cada pieza (viene de 4) así que o compras dos juegos o los usas cuando no son mas de 4 (otra cosa si se rompe una pieza, ya te jorobaste) supongo que es marketing. En cuanto a lo demás están PRECIOSOS y son una ganga por lo bonitos, parecen Talavera a precio de oferta. Si te gustan no lo pienses mucho, no vaya que ya no los consigas. me ha pasado con otras cosas. Ah pueden usarse en Microondas sin problemas
