Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (novel), Vol. 1

After reading the manhwa(korean comics) I thought reading the book would be boring, however I read it in one night. The printing, style of the book was decent. Only thing I didn't like was translated names of a characters. For example Kim Dokja became Dokja Kim which really annoyes when you reading it after the manhwa or korean version. Characters 10/10, well written but don't have too much of a description. World 10/10 - everything happens in Korea, so you can see mentioning of a real places such as Han river. Total: the Omniscient reader's viewpoint is 10/10 for those who like fiction and mythology mixed with a reality. For those who don't like a slow pace story or when a lot of characters are from different mythology this story will be 7/10 or even lower.

Fantastic read and love the physical version of the novel. The cover is gorgeous and textured!! Am so happy to own a physical copy of one of my favorite novels and the translation is amazing. The novel gives more detail and depth than the webcomic, so even if you’ve read that you can be like Dokja and read it again from a new perspective. Wonderful purchase!

Omg! Have been waiting for this book since IzePress made the announcement! I'm a fan of ORV and honestly I read this chapters already but don't care! I will do it again! The cover is sooo beautiful and omg Dokja!! My only issue is that, yes the book come in a bag to protect it but it didn't mean that ppl should handle it as the bag was of iron. I took photo of how it looks and yes, I don't like it but it doesn't mean that I'm not happy with this product. Maybe I should have asked for a gift bag? Idk. Recommend this novel! You won't regret it!

Some of the translations are a bit sad to see but being able to own this masterpiece of a story physically finally can’t complain too much. Also really helps it has the novel illustrations in full color in the front. Must buy if you love ORV.

The Book is beautiful, the quality of the pages and the cover is great! Amazing Story however a few gripes with the localization of the characters and words. If you have read the Webtoon or read the novel online beforehand it is a little disappointing. An example would be how they changed The Dokkaebi’s into the literal translation of the word which is goblin. To westerners goblins are very different to what the book describes and this can be found in other places aswell creating a jarring experience compared to reading the webtoon. If you are able to look past that or are a first time reader the novel is still amazing and I definitely recommend picking this up!

This book is amazing! If you've read the unofficial translated webnovel, I prefer it over this official English translation. Only reason is because I am used to the way Asian names go last name first then first name. Dokja Kim sounds very western and does not have the appeal of why Asians go by last name first. Some words could have been used like "hyung" or "-nim" and "dokkaebi" instead of "goblin". That way people will become more familiar with the culture! The book came slightly damaged on one of the corners, but has super nice artwork from Black Box-nim! I wish there was a hardcover version since I feel like wear and tear can easily be done if you're not careful.

O livro trás uma história emocionante, divertida e que faz transbordar em sua mente encantamento com seu mistério, drama e fantasia de forma incomparável. Foram tomadas algumas adaptações para a tradução que não são exatamente ideais (a imagem popular de um goblin é muito diferente dos dokkaebi descritos no livro), porém, apesar disso e de um leve amassado na lombada do livro, é evidente que essa impressão é de grande qualidade de produção; A capa é absolutamente linda sendo texturizafa pra imitar constelações e lindamente decorada com estampas prateadas refletivas, as ilustrações que a seguem têm papel poster que é bem mais resistente e fez com que as páginas viessem em perfeito estado. Essa é uma história que merece 5 estrelas, mudou completamente minha vida com ensinamentos sobre devoção, perdão, força de vontade, a importância da conexão humana, lidar com traumas e encarar o futuro com esperança mas acima de tudo orv é uma história sobre o amor por histórias. Realmente é uma sensação inigualável folhear uma versão física e poder reler palavras tão familiares com minhas mãos após amar omniscient reader's viewpoint por tantos anos!
