Micsig Tablet Oscilloscope 100MHz 4CH 1GSa/s tBook TO1104

This is an amazing oscilloscope. It far exceeded my expectations. I love the ui. So much easier then the traditional oscilloscope buttons and knobs. Changing settings is extremely fast. The battery lasts a very long time. There's too many pros to list so ill list a couple cons. The fan is noisy . The probes are 10x only and could be a little better. I don't like how the calibration screw is on the opposite end near the bnc connector but the probes are excellent quality. The screen protector that comes with it requires dissasembling the front to install it and when you put the front cover back on it bubbles all the corners. No big buy a different screen protector don't bother with the supplied one. All in all i would buy a couple more if i could. This tablet scope is truly amazing. I'm using it mainly for automotive work and audio equipment and its perfect.

This is a great scope for the price! After I opened the box, I charged it up, played with it for a few minutes, then I used it to troubleshoot a design I was working on. The on screen measurements enabled me to rapidly see what was wrong with my circuit. And the scope was very easy to operate - it's quite intuitive! The screen is large and easy to read.I really like this scope!The only negative I can see is that the screen protector is difficult to install. I could not eliminate the dust and had to remove my protector and throw it away. I'm going to try to obtain another one and try again.Update: The more I use this scope the more I like it. Over the last few days I have used it to analyze some I2C. The scope was supposed to have I2C and other protocols enabled but it didn't. I contacted NKCElectronics and they were very quick to get those features activated. NKCElectronics does an excellent job. They provide a great product at a great price and they quickly assist with after sales support.The scope offered by NKCElectronics includes every option available from Micsig except two military / avionics protocols which will probably never be seen by a hobbiest or engineer not working in the avionics industry. I am an electrical engineer who has worked for years designing and installing industrial control equipment and I've never heard of those protocols. The common ones you need are included in the price of the scope.So if you are looking for a compact, portable, fast, but inexpensive scope, buy this before the price goes up!

I haven't had time to really use the oscilloscope yet, but at first glance, it appears to be an excellent value. The seller NKC Electronics has been very good -- I received it in one day, rather than the 2 day shipping selected. (Was fulfilled by Amazon, so it was probably Amazon I should thank.) They also reached out to let me know that the new firmware with serial decode is available, and that all I needed to do was send them the serial number to get an unlock code. The oscilloscope itself appears to be very well constructed, and over an hour or two of casual playing about has been quite easy to understand and work with. I'm used to buttons and knobs, so this touch only interface will take some getting used to, but already it seems pretty easy and well thought out. Prior to this, I was using an Instek GDS-1062A (2 channel, 60 Mhz, 1 GS/s) It was a perfectly decent scope, but I now need something portable for field use. I'll probably just replace the Instek with this Micsig, as it offers better speed, 2 more channels, and about 4x the screen real estate. The fact that it's portable just seals the deal.I'll try to update this after I've had a month or two of use out of it, but I'm quite satisfied so far.Just be sure to order it with the battery. It's only about $40 more, and it's my understanding that due to air freight regulations, you can't purchase it after the fact. (Seems stupid, and this may change in the future, but as far as I know, the batteries aren't available separately now.)**** ~6 Month Update ****Still extremely satisfied. Serial decode works great, and the scope has been very easy to use. Currently developing several 32 bit ARM projects, and this oscilloscope has handled everything I've asked of it.I did have one episode of the oscilloscope locking up after about an hour of continuous use last summer, but to be fair, it was 102 degrees in my shop during a heat wave.**** 1.5 yr update *****Still very happy with this scope. Battery is holding up fine, and no more stability troubles (shop hasn't been over 100 this year.). I'm not pushing any boundaries, but it's been excellent for several 10-20 mHz microcontroller projects. The interface has been very intuative, and easy to work with.

Have been using this for automotive repair, easy to use, awesome screen, great battery life. I high recommend this scope.

I've just started learning to use this device, but so far it seems well built, accurate, and reasonably easy to use (although there is a bit of a learning curve if you want to take advantage of all the features). Quite a powerful little oscilloscope in a well thought out package.

This is a great oscilloscope especially for the money. The user interface is of course different but well worth, and even fun, learning. This is my go to scope and I do have a few different ones. I am glad I purchased this.

I wanted a scope that would compliment a two channel desktop scope and this is perfect. The user interface is very intuitive and works very well. No need for knobs and switches and feels well built. The ability to remote control the scope via android/iOS tablet is a nice feature.

Awesome unit. I use it in automotive applications.
