Bought these and have them in with my brown sugar and my marshmallows. They really work to keep both so soft and ready to use. Get them and give these as gifts, too! All cooks will love them!!!!

They are smaller in diameter than expected. About 2” in diameter. They will fit in most storage containers.

They are the cutest things, and I like them. They kept my huge bin of brown sugar soft for 3 months, but then when I didn't use it for several weeks, the sugar caked up! So sad. I had to resort to slices of apple. But they did fine for quite a while, and if I wasn't trying to keep so much sugar for such a long period, I think they would work great! I have my sugar in an OXO sealable bin, with 4 of these scattered through layers of the sugar. It only caked near the bottom of a 3 lb. stash. So perhaps I asked too much!

Confession: I'm one of those bakers who, when the brown sugar was too hard, I'd simply go out and buy another batch. So here I am in a pandemic, with TWO rock-hard containers of sugar and I'm obviously not going out for another one. So I needed a solution. I bought this 4-pack thinking I would need all 4 to help me with my cemented sugars. Soaking one of these things in water for 20 minutes and sticking it in an airtight container with both rocks made the sugar come out like brand new in about a day. It was unreal. I only needed one, so now I have three to share with other friends/bakers who have similar sugar problems, or use in some other fashion. I'm super impressed with how this works and I can't believe I never discovered it before. Get these, and save your ingredients for excellent baking results.

Without these my brown sugar would be hard as a rock. They REALLY DO WORK! Good to give as gifts too!

I bought four tiles, each a different design. I followed the directions for the two I have used: soak in water for 15 minutes, pat dry and place in your container. I put one in the brown sugar box that had been opened and one in the covered container we use as a sugar bowl. I set the other two aside for future use. They are attractive, well made, a convenient size and they keep the sugar soft. I don't know why I didn't do this years ago...

Easy to use and absolutely is needed when you purchase brown sugar. Keeps sugar soft and no hard spots. Just remember to redo disk every 3 months.
