Considering the price, the product is good. Not the best microwave Oven I've ever used.

The GE Countertop Microwave Oven (1.1 cu. ft., 950W) has been a great replacement for my old microwave, especially considering the discount/sale price. For the money, it’s a solid, affordable option that does exactly what you’d expect. Performance-wise, it heats food evenly and the 950 watts is plenty for everyday use. The size is just right — compact enough to fit easily on the counter but still roomy enough for normal plates and bowls. It also looks nice, with a clean, modern design that doesn’t feel cheap. This unit replaced my old microwave after it decided to stay on even with the door open (not ideal 😅), so this was a much-needed upgrade. The only real gripe I have is the child safety lock, which can be a bit annoying if you don’t need it. That said, it can be deactivated by pressing and holding 7, 8, and 9, so once you know that, it’s not a big issue. Overall, this microwave offers good value, good looks, and reliable function. If you can grab it on sale, it’s an especially great deal and an easy recommendation.

I've only used it for a week, but so far it's been all good. I needed a smaller than full-size unit, but this one is plenty big enough. Good heat, if only 950w; heats 12 Oz. of milk, straight from the 'fridge to near-boiling in 2+ minutes. Yes, a backlit control panel would be nice, but my 82 yr. eyes and brain can manage. GE has served me well in the past, so I'm not worried now.

After my 30 year old GE finally died, I purchase this only for the price and that the "child lock" can be completely DISABLED! It actually heats better than my old one and 70% more quiet. However, the feet on the bottom are plastic and not rubber, so the microwave can move when it vibrates. I had to put a non-slip kitchen mat under it, but shouldn't have to. I read comments that the keypad was dim, NO it's black with no back light. Even with light directly on it, it can be tough to make out what the buttons are. So I screen captured and printed a keypad overlay from an image in the online PDF owners manual (since no real manual was included). I inverted the image changing the black background to white, and printed it at 2.25"x4.25". Fits well and I can now see what the buttons are now. I'll add the image here incase the don't auto-adjust it.

This microwave is very cheaply made. The metal frame is extremely thin. Every time I open or close the door, there is a loud metal rattling sound coming from within the unit that is extremely annoying. It also runs extremely loud.

This GE microwave is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !! the packaging is professional and perfection, it is so quite when in use and adds a pop of elegance to your kitchen countertop. I HIGHLY recommend this microwave. 👍
