I used this 16AWG PSU cable extension kit (30cm, soft braided, black with combs) in a build powered by a 1600W 80 Plus Gold PSU. The cables handled the power demands without issue and elevated the front-end aesthetics with a sleek, uniform look. The combs helped keep everything aligned, especially for the 24-pin ATX and PCIe cables. The extra length made routing easier in terms of flexibility — you can reach different areas of the case more comfortably. But it also introduced challenges if you're aiming for a tight, minimal layout. Cable extensions are the bane of a PC builder's existence. Do it right, and your setup looks clean and tidy. Do it poorly, and you end up adding more points of failure and a fire hazard. Luckily, Okinos' cable extensions appear to be done right. Upon opening the box, I tugged on each of the connectors on both sides of every single extension (and not gently). ALL seemed to be well placed and well attached to their respective housings, giving me the confidence that they wouldn't set my house on fire. and 3 months in, they didn't. Everything is absolutely peachy keen. Even my graphics card, a 2x8 pin 9070 XT that regularly pulls over 300 watts, is doing just fine. I regularly removed the extensions to inspect them all for melting/ wear and so far they've impressed me with their durability. From an aesthetic standpoint, the single braided cables give my build a clean, professional look. I love that Okinos included combs with these to make them look less messy. The combs aren't particularly great quality, but they look good when installed and don't make anything worse, so hey. The black color looks slick, and I would recommend it for anyone trying to minimize the amount of RGB in their builds. The best part is that since these are extensions that clip on to the motherboard side of the power supply connectors, they're compatible with every single ATX/SFX power supply ever, meaning I can keep using these across multiple builds if desired. In particularly tricky cases like the Lancool 207, cable managing them can be a bit of a headache, given their larger, flat profile. I would also avoid trying to bend these cables directly out of the connector- instead, start the bend after leaving a bit of slack at the end of the connector. They're not flexible enough otherwise.
