BTR13 Bluetooth Headphone Amplifier with LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, AAC (Dual CS43131 3.5mm Unbalanced & 4.4mm Balanced Output) (Black)

I purchased one of these earlier this year and have been using it frequently. The sound is great from the balanced 4.4mm jack (I haven't tried the 3.5mm jack at all) on a set of Planar Hybrid IEMs. The controls are fairly easy to use by feel. The Bluetooth connectivity is good, if a bit short ranged. I have a few minor nitpicks on this amp: 1) Limited to 80% battery charging capacity from the factory and the setting for this is buried in the app menus. 2) The belt clip is not the strongest design. Mine broke after a drop from my desk to the carpeted floor. The Good: 1) Excellent sound quality on the balanced output. 2) Small size and very light weight. 3) Connects easily to every Bluetooth device that I own. I would recommend these for those who use headphones/IEMs that use balanced cable inputs.

sounds great, very good feature set, provides good amount of power. for what it does at its price i am very happy with it.

Excelente, se escucha demasiado bien y me gustó su versatilidad, le dura poco la pila si lo pensabas usar para largas sesiones trabajando o viajando. Me dura alrededor de 4 horas en uso intensivo con el volumen alto. Probado con Sennheiser, Shure y Beyerdynamic, por el dispositivo no tengo ningún problema, solo su software, es malísimo! Es lento y desesperante y tiene algunos Bugs con Android justo en la parte de abajo se interpone siempre por encima los botones de servicio de Android por encima del software que está mal escalado en la pantalla y no puedes acceder a algunas cosas como el ecualizador, el Bluetooth tiene un alcance bastante bastante interesante, al punto de dejar mi celular en mi oficina y solo voy con el dac y mis audífonos al baño jajaja!

Works very well easy to use and the app is well worth downloading it helps customize the sounds and functions. The battery life is good enough for my use.

So. I can honestly say, I don't use this thing. My phone battery is trash most days so I use a Mp3 player to listen to my music. And since the bluetooth works on my mp3 player I haven't had a use for this thing though I did test it and it does work, I've mainly used it as a dac for my laptop. I did use it for my phone and it sounds good. And the signal doesn't drop out when I walk out of the room or across the hall. That's the only thing I would say was wrong with my BTR15. The BTR17 tends to give me trouble too and while I haven't tested this thing extensively I can say my unit works with everything I threw at it. It also has a built in clip. It feels cheap but now I won't be afraid to drop it if I ever decide to use it outside of the house with my phone. I used it on my Mp3 player and the volume was so low on bluetooth and you can't use it wired so to tell you the truth I probably should've sent it back but I'm hoping to give it more of a purpose in the future.

Love the sound, love the app, love everything but the battery! Mine is brand new and I’m getting MAYBE an hour or two nonstop. If I use it on and off, sure, it lasts. But I can’t get through a full hour plus workout after leaving it charging all night. That’s crazy!! This could be a super bargain at $70, but a portable with low battery life isn’t worth the money at any price!

This is my 2nd fav DAC and first Fiio device. I am thoroughly impressed with it's build quality and usability. Though the software update process needs to be more intuitive. It sounds great and seems to last for weeks. This little DAC led me to buy the btr17 and I'm even more of a Fiio fan

This DAC does a good job in improving the audio of your phone, but only if you use a cable. When using it in Bluetooth mode it does not provide LDAC or aptX HD as it claims. It only allows aptX streaming at 41 kHz, which is cd quality not High Resolution quality. Quite a disappointment from Fiio, I have bought a couple of its desk DAC and they work pretty well, but like this dongle, they also struggle with high res Bluetooth. This was the main reason to buy it, to improve wireless audio quality and stream high res music from the phone to the car speakers. It fails in that. Returning it.

This is the only way I can get my iPhone 16 music actually playing properly. In relation to using this in a 2011 RAV4 (as it does have an aux port, but there’s no Bluetooth) I didn’t care at this point whether I it was corded orBluetooth but I had tried absolutely everything from USB cables to FM transmitter, etc. but no matter the method nor the device could I ever get volume higher than like a quarter. If I’m driving over 60, I can’t actually make out most words, and I am not deaf by any means. This thing, actually allows me to go to legit max volume. I can hear my music fairly loud while going 120 km for the first time ever. This is only used as a work vehicle and I did not want to have to spend the money on a stereo plus / or speakers. This was the EXACT same case in my 2010 RAV4 (which had the exact same issue) but I had 6K in repairs on that vehicle yet could get a new one for half that so.. ( & make sure you use a premium hifi cord / cable. This device is good quality and functionality. Definitely worth it Previously, I had used the FiiO E10K DAC It was also fantastic.

Easy to use. Just be careful to select English when turning it on for the first time. I accidentally selected Chinese and had to do a factory reset to get back to English. Took away one star for the iOS app being not so good. If you want to update the firmware you should do so through the android app only.

Wow. Fantastic value for money, will drive all my headphone collection and allows custom EQ settings for each Audio quality is spot on, battery lasts 6-8 hours playing 96k audio, can even make cheap earbuds sound OK
