I bought these Si camera's recently and after using them I'm very happy. The solar feature is better than I expected the batteries last even after a few cloudy days the charge shown in the software is still in the 90% range. No worries in setup it only takes a few minutes. They are still camera's so I put one on the back corner of the house pointing down the driveway and the other pointing at the backyard. The motion detector will catch anything out there at night! The video is clean and night vision is clear so I just felt like sharing my experience with this product. They are inexpensive and work great. If you need camera's around your house you'll be happy with these

I wanted outdoor cameras that were battery powered, solar charging, allowed saving video to an SD card, and that did not require a subscription or in home listening device like Alexa. These cameras checked all the boxes, had a lot of good reviews and were on sale for a very good price.Other nice features are being able to listen and talk through the cameras, and the security light that can be turned on/off or set to auto for color video at night.Setup & installation was easy. The initial pairing of each camera with my wifi and phone was the only finicky thing. It worked best to be in the same room as the router. But it did take several attempts to get each camera to pair. There were two methods - the easiest one has a QR code on your phone display and then the camera tries to scan the code. I could not get the camera to scan it. The other method worked after a few tries. But once the cameras are paired, you don’t have to do it again.I installed the cameras outdoors and have had no connection issues with my wifi. After about 4 weeks of use, the cameras have worked flawlessly.I was concerned about the solar charging because it’s Dec/Jan in Ohio. We have had little sun with most days being cloudy, rainy or snowing. And I have my motion detection set to maximum distance, maximum sensitivity, and recording length also set to max. These are not the setting to use for best battery life, but despite all of this, the cameras have all remained at 100% charge! Each camera gets triggered a few times a day but it is not heavy use.As for video quality, I have not had any other cameras to compare, but the footage is clear and quite good IMO.Some have mentioned the lenses fogging up, but I have not had this issue. I’ll have to see how they do in the humid and hot summer.There are two things I think others might consider depending on their situation: First, the cameras have a field of view of 100 degrees. If you are mounting these in a tight space, that might not be a wide enough view for some people. Second, if you can not mount these in the open where the sun can hit the panel on top of the camera, you might want a different model with a separate solar panel that can be mounted in an open location.Overall I am very happy with the cameras and they are perfect for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. This solar powered wi-fi camera works exceptionally well and is very good value. First, it’s made using durable materials and is surprisingly hefty (probably due mostly to its internal battery). The case is metal with a rugged built-in solar panel. The mounting bracket that’s provided is also sturdy.Setting up the camera was easy using the instructions provided. You first need to download the Wansview app to your phone. You then add the appropriate S1 camera device and select the “Wi-Fi connection by QR code” option. Point the camera at the QR code displayed on your phone to initiate the process. It only took a couple minutes to connect the camera to my home’s wi-fi network and add it to the app.I've been using this camera for a while now, and I'm impressed. The solar panel works very well and keeps the camera fully charged even on cloudy days.I primarily use the camera to monitor my backyard, including a nearby birdfeeder. The image quality is very good as can be seen in the attached photos and video. The night vision is also very good in IR mode. I set the camera to “Auto infrared mode” and do not use the built-in camera lights available by selecting “Full color night” since they not needed in my application.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this camera. The image quality is excellent, the solar panel keeps the battery charged, the wi-fi reception is very good, and it's overall a great value for the price.

I have been using Wansview/Aoqee Security Cameras for several years now. Though the earlier generation cameras were very reliable and reasonably priced, the main drawback was routing the power and signal cables to the cameras. The S1 SMART SECURITY CAMERA completely eliminates this task making the camera fully autonomous. WiFi signal and solar power allow the camera to operate literally without any wire connections. These cameras perform the same quality surveillance as the earlier generation cameras with additional features such as audio and security lights. Setup is very easy. Simply power on the camera and have it read a QR code. I used the IoT WiFi channel of my gateway. The camera can be moved to any point within the WiFi footprint and then physically installed. Operationally, the camera can be monitored/managed anywhere with the Wansview Cloud application. The camera has an SD slot allowing security events to be captured. I am impressed that enough energy is stored allowing the camera to operate night time with a motion detector strobe light to capture night-time events. Lately, the weather conditions in my region have been harsh, yet the camera operated without interruptions. Though there are some features I would like to see, for the price and performance, I am very satisfied with the AOQEE/WANVIEW S1 Smart Security Camera.
