It works well
It fits and works. Walmart had the Coleman brand "cassette" camping stove butane cans for waay cheaper than name brand lighter refills years back. I looked around at the time and experimented with some 3D printed adapters. Not satisfactory. I have a bunch of butane fired tools, lighters, torches and soldering irons I use continualy, so a cheaper way of keeping them fired up was wanted. This fits perfectly on those stove cans and refills everything I have on hand. If you've got a cheap source of those butane cans, it might be worth it to get one of these adapters. It just snaps into the top pocket where the can valve is, once in place it works like a regular lighter fill can. I pigged out on the cheap stove cans, probably a lifetime supply of butane fills for everything. Working parts are machined metal, snap in part is plastic but seems rugged enough. Works well enough. Came boxed, now in a drawstring bag with the other butane fill adapter set I got off Amazon. Can fill just about anything now.

Works great - for use on larger cans of butane
Works perfect to use the larger butane canister from camping or portable grills. Also cheaper to buy larger cans usually in Asian markets :) Great adapter.

Works perfectly. Fill any refined butane lighter/torch with much cheaper Butane Camping Fuel
Works perfectly. Exactly as described. Am able to fill literally anything you could fill with butane. Torch lighter, soldering iron etc. Been using it for half a year now and it is as sturdy and durable as day one. Great price. Cost effective way for anything that requires refined lighter grade butane is much more expensive(3x the cost) than outdoor cooking butane(Coleman Fuel), but I promise you the camping stove butane works just fine in torch lighters and anything else in that regard. It just isn't as perfect and smooth/even burning. But if money matters to you, and you use torch lighters often... I strongly recommend taking this route as it will save you hundreds in a year or two.

Pros and cons
Pros: • Cost-Effective Refilling: Allows reuse of cheaper bulk 8oz butane canisters instead of buying small, expensive lighter fuel—users report saving 50-75% on gas for torches and lighters. • Durable Build: Constructed from lightweight, strong anodized aluminum and brass; withstands frequent use without breaking, per long-term campers and hobbyists. • Easy and Portable: Simple slip-on design with knurled grip for secure handling; weighs just 2oz, fits in pockets or bags for travel or camping. • Broad Compatibility: Works with most refillable butane torches, lighters, and even some isobutane setups; includes clear instructions for quick setup. Cons: • Safety Risks: High chance of leaks, explosions, or ignition failure if overfilled or used with incompatible fuels (e.g., propane); strict warnings emphasize no fire/heat nearby. • Compatibility Limits: Only fits specific 8oz canisters with snap-joint nozzles—not universal; some users report fit issues with non-standard tanks. • Learning Curve and Mess: Initial trials can be fiddly, leading to gas waste or poor seals; not ideal for beginners without practice. • Potential Valve Damage: Repeated refills may wear out lighter/torch valves over time, risking failures in high-pressure scenarios like cold weather camping. Verdict: Great for budget-savvy users with compatible gear who prioritize safety—ideal for home workshops or warm-weather camping. Skip if you’re risk-averse or need foolproof universality.
