I use this Anker USB C Power with 300J Surge Protector to power portable appliances, specifically a small space heater and a tower fan. The 5’ extension cord lets me run it under furniture, and the (relatively)compact head with 6 AC outlets is unobtrusive and gives options to power other items such as a small lamp without an unsightly mess of cords. The strip tucks neatly under bed, dresser, side table, etc. I have not had call to use the USB-A and -C ports (I plug an Anker 30W Nano-cube into the strip to power my iPad, but they are a handy addition. The built-in circuit breaker and thermal protection (which thankfully I have not had to test) and ground indicators are welcome features in my applications. I have noticed I seem to be buying all things Anker for my ancillary power needs (including Anker high-power USB cables and battery packs). I am happy with the apparent quality and performance of Anker products, and so far so good on all-important durability. Corresponding products are available at lower prices , but the cost of replacing a single device, much less my house, makes Anker products an extremely good value to me.

I looked up a little about the brand and I think it lives up to it's name. Nice and compact, on/off switch. Multiple outlets including usb ports. Looks well made, not cheap or flimsy. Well packaged and not overpriced. I wish there were more brands like this.

These get the job done and depending on your setup/needs. Do very well. The plugs for the USB seems to get lose with little to normal use. Otherwise its a decent product.
