Lasts for around a year
I have just purchased another one of these, both of my previous 2 lasted around about a year, which for the price is pretty good value. Haven't had any issues with the lights not working during the year, then it gradually stops working and time to replace.Theure really useful so you can see the water temperature at a glance

Good purchase
This is the second unit that I have purchased great for children to watch the change in temperature and to identify when the temperature is too hot to place their hands underneath so they don’t burn themselves

Not fit for purpose!
Awful broke and stopped working after 3 days! The blue stopped working first then the green, the water needs to be really hot before the red appears!

Awesome
I feel like this has changed out lives in the kitchen. The colour changing really does work and has helped to reduce water waste as we are not leaving the tap on longer than needed. We can tell by the colour what temp the water is. It has made the water flow more powerful and the whole family love the lights. Its not bulky or stand out from the tap, it looks like its always been apart of the tap

It sort of works ... if you don't mind the colours being mixed up!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace my old one that was giving up the ghost after a couple of years of our horribly hard water. This works (so far) - but it's green for cold, blue for warming up and red for hot. Not really worth the hassle of returning it - at least the red is right, and that's what I wanted it for!

Works fairly well
It doesn't seem but for my tap. I first had to remove the aerator, which required breaking it off as it was an old plastic one and had no tools to remove it. I've got a very similar (looks like the same manufacturer) for my bathroom sink taps and works well, only with a less controlled stream (it tends to spit at full force). The sink taps are fairly new so it explained why it fitted so well on them. With this one I was fitting it in my bath taps and the flat was built 10 years ago so the taps are fairly old, which may be why they didn't fit so well. When I first screwed it in (I didn't need the adapter) it leaked round the aerator. Upon inspecting both the sink and bath taps it's obvious how different the taps are built. The sink tap has a ledge in the upper part probably helping to create a better seal and prevent leaks. The bath tap doesn't have this. The bath tap leaked so much that I couldn't use the shower. I have a shower hose (shower mixer taps) connected to my bath taps and seems to work on water pressure. It seemed that so much water was leaking around the aerator that it wasn't allowing pressure to build up to make the shower work. It also seemed that opening the tap valve more to allow more water in would increase the pressure around the aerator and cause it to leak more.Upon inspection I also noticed the thread was slightly damaged in one area. Most of the aerator, including the thread appears to be made of a fairly low quality plastic. This may have also been what caused it to leak. I wrapped some PTFE (plumbers) tape around the thread and mesh washer to hold it in place and provide a better seal on the thread. It seemed to work well with no leaks, even at full load. Only it seems to take a while to get up to full temperature. I'm not sure if this is a false perception though as I've yet to test it against my bathroom sink.In short, first it leaked, but plumber's (PTFE) tape seemed to fix it. What do you expect someone made from cheap plastic. It seems to work well now.
