The lid to this product is hard to open but it is still definitely worth it, really benefits aquarium and I'm glad I found this product, one of the most helpful of all the fish products I've bought.

Helps a Tank Cycle
This product works really well to help cycle new tanks a bit quicker, and I use it in a small amount with new water changes, and my tanks are thriving.

(This is the same review for the Special Blend since I am doing as recommended and using both together) Alright so this just came today. Will update as my cycle goes on after adding it (today). (Special Blend) The smell. Oh my god the smell. I read the reviews opened outside and was confused why I didn’t smell anything. So I took a whiff. Then I fetched for awhile. It smells what I imagine rotting corpses on a high way smell like. The smell is legit. Why I gave it 4 stars. I’ll be using this with Nite Out II also since everything I read says they go hand in hand. It says that if you put in with live animals make sure you have a TON of oxygen going in the tank. So definitely make sure you use a few air stones in your tank as I assume this sort of lowers the oxygen levels. Thus why people have killed their stock using it. I’ll report back in a few days what my tests read. I’m in the middle of cycling now (low ammonia high nitrites and nitrates) fishless cycling. I have 4 tanks going atm. However one has my axoltol so I didn’t use it in that tank. (Nite Out II) Doesnt smell, does much like what all the others are supposedly doing. Im gonna try and follow every day and read the tanks reading. RIght now I am only testing for Ammonia and nitrItes instead of nitrates, as because im cycling, it doesnt matter how high they get - yet. Day 1: (next day after putting Special Blend and Nite Out II in) Tank 1 (20gallon tall): BEFORE adding I had 0ppm Ammonia, and 1.0 of nitrites. AFTER: No change Tank 2 (5 gallon): BEFORE: .50ppm Ammonia and 1.0 NitrItes. AFTER: No Change Tank 3 (10 gallon): BEFORE: 0 Ammonia ppm and 2.0 nitrites AFTER: No change Tank 4 (20 gallon long with an axolotl in): BEFORE: 1.0ppm Ammonia 2.0 nitrites AFTER: .50ppm Ammonia 2.0 nitrites So, for day 1: Not much has changed. Remember, I was in the middle of cycling previously of adding too and were about around 0 ammonia for almost everything but the one tank that had a living creature in it. Day 2: nothing really changed at all. 48 hours and I haven’t seen it change.

Grab this, it helped me out big time.
So I have newly cycled 25G, and I may have rushed the gun a bit because it took a little over a month to cycle, and my ammonia and nitrite showed zero for weeks before I felt comfortable adding fish. I went with three snails and a firefish. I noticed that my ammonia and nitrite were rising and rightfully so, but my bio filtration must not have been strong enough because it should show zero and readings were fairly present in both, which was enough for me to keep an eye on it. After doing my weekly water changes, nothing was changing, so I bought this and dosed it last night when Amazon dropped it off. It has not been 24hours, but my readings for ammonia and nitrite have dropped to zero. I will use this alongside water changes for maintenance, and I can recommend this. My nitrate levels were in the normal range between 10-15, which is what I like and my fish weren't showing any signs of stress, but I dont want them to ever, so it made sense to act accordingly.

Trust Microbe Lift products
Been using MicrobeLift products for the past 6 months & I a supporter of these products. I’ll be using for my premium high grade goldfish 75gal tank. And that’s trust. I’ll include photo of my 30 gallon betta, neons, rummy nose, cories & Pygmy Pleco tank with plants. They are all thriving including plants. Just follow instructions and don’t forget to shake btl well. Also replace caps on bottles slowly & evenly for ease of use. Some products does smell due to bacteria activity but it dissipates quickly

Great... if you can open it
Update:I like this product but have more than a hard time trying to open the bottle. Major points down for that. I wanted to start a betta tank quickly. I used a filter from another tank, but was afraid it wouldn't work fast enough. Who wants to wait when getting new fish!? This worked great and my betta is happily kept, going on two months or so. I was certain to test the tank water religiously until I knew things were stable. Love it!
