I cannot express how good this product is. Its one of the best value products I have bought in a very long time. Not just phone holders but anything in general. The phone I use currently is a huawei mate 20 pro, so a reasonably large phone, and this eats and secures it with no problems. The phone is held so sturdily it begs belief. I actually use it currently in a flat bed truck with stiffened rear springs so is a very crashy, harsh ride, but this product keeps my phone in place, hasn't spat it out once. I used to use the vent mounted carriers but won't be going back to them from now on. This product is super easy to use, just slip over the dash surround, lift up the top clip, insert phone, Lower clip, job done. Also my phone is not held in Central due to the power button location but this has no effect on the effectiveness of this product. Cannot recommend this enough. Get one now, you won't regret it. Great item

I have an older car, which doesn't have built in SatNav so I always have to use the phone. This clips onto the dash just above the steering wheel and i can use my phone in a landscape mode. Perfect viewing. The product s made from very strong plastic. It grips the phone very well using rubber grips. I have a larger phone, Samsung S22 Plus and there is still room to hold bigger. Great Product

It works well, I use it to hold my garmin satnav above driver's instrument panel and it holds it really well. Only problem is the overall size, it is a little large and an be seen as obstructing your view (police officer's pointed out to me!). Apart from that it is a good gadget.

Why there aren't more mobile phone holders with a similar design is a mystery. I've had to replace or abandon sticky-pad and magnet designs as, one-by-one, they've failed. This is so simple. It grips the instrument visor firmly and the strong spring clip holds the phone. No glues or suckers to fail. No magnets to loose their grip on rough roads. Slight problems: (1) Only landscape. (2) In my car, the bottom of the phone's screen is very slightly obscured by the steering wheel. I use it mostly as a satnav, so not a serious issue. On the plus side:, the charging port is totally unobstructed at the bottom of the phone, the audio jack, ditto, at the top of the phone and the camera lens is clear and outward facing, so I've now got a free dash-cam!! Would recommend.

After the second one I bought also broke within a month, it is safe to say this is the worst car phone holder I've tried. Concept is great as it easily clasps the phone. However the clasp snaps soon after purchase. What a pity.

It should last more than a year

It does not have to rely on suction, which I have found to my cost does not seem to work. It clips on and does not move. The only slight disadvantage is that the phone has to be in landscape. No vibration at all. My car is a Ford B-max so can clip to the instrument panel overlap in front of me, or the small panel with clock and info in the centre. I have stopped looking for others as it worked wonderful on a long journey yesterday.
