Works perfectly with the Sony A5100 hooked up as a desktop webcam
I purchased the single-port version of this product, and so far it has been working flawlessly with my Sony A5100, which I use as a webcam.Truly a simple plug-and-play solution for keeping the A5100 charged during long video calls. No charging failure or overheating issues noted as of yet, even during lengthy conferences. Highly recommended for anyone with a similar mirrorless/DSLR webcam setup. The included cable is also very long, which is fantastic for those who need a bit of slack. This has been particularly useful for my desk's (somewhat convoluted) cable management setup, keeping things tidy and tucked away. However, it is definitely worth noting that this product should NOT be plugged into a power source that outputs a voltage exceeding 5V, as over time this may cause damage to the product. Ideally you would use a power bank or wall charger/adaptor with an output of 5V 2.4A or 5V 3.0A. Mine is plugged into a 5V 2.4A USB output port on a 65W multi-port power delivery hub. Please double check the output of whichever power source you intend on using.Aside from that small warning, this product is a very simple and effective solution for compatible cameras, at a very affordable price. Highly recommended.

Mains power for Canon EOS600D in video conferencing - Works brilliantly!
I’ve owned a Canon EOS600D for about 6 years now. I’d purchased additional batteries for the camera over the years. Since March 2020 I’ve been working from home using a works laptop. Due to limited space the works laptop was set up to my side with a monitor plugged in. This meant that in a video call I was splitting my attention between the laptop and the monitor. Canon released a nifty piece of software that allowed a computer to see the camera as a device for use in video call software (Skype, Zoom, Teams etc). This worked perfectly and I was able to set the camera up above the main monitor. This gave me a much better video call quality too. The drawback to this is that the batteries drained very quickly when the camera was being used in a video capacity for hours a day. I picked up this battery/power adapter and it solved all my problems. It easily connected up to the camera with the USB-A connector plugging in to an old iPhone plug. Now I can have lengthy video calls everyday of the week without any power problems. I haven’t used this in a “studio photography” setting, just as a source of power for video calls. For this it has worked exceptionally and I can recommend the product for this purpose.

Works perfectly! Extends the battery life on my A6300 brilliantly.
Just purchased this for my Sony A6300 for use connected to my Anker/Aukey powerbanks.Having done the continuous record limit removal on the A6300 I have been testing the camera recording 4k 25fps and it's been running solidly now for 45 minutes uninterrupted and still according to the camera has 85%. Previous tests with normal NP-FW50 Sony batteries have overheated the camera at around the 30 minute mark.Edit: Have reached the 47 minute mark and the overheating warning sign has appeared but is still filming.Edit 2: Has reached over an hour of filming without overheating - onscreen battery reading at 82%. Removed the dummy battery and put back in the same dummy battery and turned back on the camera - reading of 94% and no heat warning sign. Very impressed. My power bank still shows four full LEDs so I presume this could power for a lot longer time than the predicted on screen percentage on the camera. The product itself seems well constructed, has a solid cable and connector and the dummy battery you insert itself seems of good quality. Instructions are simple and printed on a sheet of A4 but pretty self explanatory.Note: You will need an external battery or power source that delivers over 2A of power. My Aukey 20,000mah deliver 2.4 and is working great.

Does the job
Using this for my EOS 4000D, it's definitely not made for this since you need to keep the battery door open but it does work. Item feels a little bit cheap but after using it for 4 or so months letting me use my camera as a webcam (quite infrequently) it has been worth every penny. It used to be a hassle changing the battery after every call but this has been performing nearly flawlessly. The only real issue i've had is it needed to be unplugged and plugged back in a few times because the camera wasn't powering on - pretty rare issue though for me.

Works great for the Lumix G9
Works great, before I bought this I tried plugging in a Anker power bank directly into the camera and for some reason the power would cut in and out. After some reading, I read that a dummy battery solution is a better option as the port I plugged into initially was made mainly for data transfer and not power input, which I found rather odd as to why Panasonic would limit the port.Anyway this product resolved the issue and it works like a dream. Can not speak on quality/durability as only had it for few week but great so far. May buy another as a backup incase this breaks/stops working.

Great for powering an DSLR for use as a VLOG camera.
I am using it with a Canon 650D which was wasted in the box. I added a short focus lens Rode mic and Elgato stand and the quality is way above most phone cameras or cheap video-cams.It went straight in and the camera has no complaints or problems. The cable is long enough to go from the camera mounted at head height on the desk to a USB multi-charger below the desk allowing me to power everything down in one go.

Unreliable
I bought this for a conference that I was livestreaming from my camera and the OBS software. When I connected it to the plug however, I found that my camera kept on switch off. It seems that the model itself was too small, so the only way to stop that from happening was to manually keep my hand on the dummy batttery. In the end I was forced to use my own battery and hosted the conference. The battery ran out and I had to switch to my webcam. The audience were forgiving, but we had been working on the production quality for weeks. It's a learning experience. It seems there are positive reviews, so perhaps my experience is not typical. But if you're looking for a dummy battery for an a6000 on short notice, I wouldn't suggest buying this product.
