ummm
The feeder worked great, the only problem is it was too big for the tank I have. I have a two gallon tank with only one Beta and even on the lowest setting, it was putting out way to much food, so I couldn't use it and never sent it back. It also didn't fit on my tank. So unless you have a bigger tank this isn't the feeder for you, but the timer was on time cause I forgot to take the battery out and even though it was just laying up there, it kept spinning around to release the food. So the feeding time worked. I wasn't able to attach it to my little tank so i can't speak to its sturdiness.

Good, Like the 100/200 ml Feeder Better
I'm going to be gone for about a week and I needed to make sure my fish get fed of course. I got the 60 ml automatic feeder for my little 5-gallon tank (3 glowlight tetras and 2 neon tetras), and the bigger 100/200 ml feeder for my 20-gallon tank (10 black skirt tetras and 2 corys). The smallest notch on the 60 ml feeder (that isn't closed) feeds way too much for 5 tiny fish. I've tried putting it partway between fully closed and the first notch, but I don't think I succeeded as it still feeds too much. This of course isn't ideal when I'm not going to be home to do water changes. The 100/200 ml feeder has much smaller increments and it's easy to get the right amount. It seems like it's best to also make sure to put the batteries in at exactly the time you want it to feed them, and then push the manual feeding button (on the 60 ml feeder) or the timer button (on the 100/200 ml feeder) right away. Nothing in the manuals tell you how to get these to feed at a specific time, but I did this last night (with it set to 12 hour) and both feeders fed them this morning at exactly the same time as the night before. I'm now going to switch the 60 ml feeder to 24 hour so they don't end up totally overloaded. I couldn't find anything anywhere that said how big of a feeder capacity you need for any specific tank size or amount of time, but the 60 ml size appears to be more than enough for my little 5 gallon tank. I don't think it would be quite big enough for the voracious little eaters in my 20 gallon tank, so I'm glad I went with a bigger size for them (the 100 ml size on that one appears to be plenty big). These feeders are very easy to clamp on the side of the aquarium, either rimless or with a decent sized plastic rim. I can't then put the lids on all the way, which is annoying for the little tank, but since I don't have any real escape artists in there I'm not too worried.

Works as Expected
Works perfectly. Recommendation, add food and manual test the opening size setting over a plate for a few rotations to see how much food will really dispense. It's not something you can guess at, dispensing to much into your tank will cause nothing but problems. Once the opening is set to dispense the correct amount of food, then the unit can be set to the period, ie 24 hours and the blue light will flash. As the Unit is using little current for 24 hours to flash the led and then a burst of current to rotate the feeder bin, I choose to go with Lithium AA Batteries to improve Battery life. Noise is not an issue. The unit supports standing on a Base or mounting on the Tank Rim.

NOT FOR BETAS
NOT GOOD FOR BETAS. Even with tiny granules at the lowest setting it let's out way too much food. It has no width setting, only a standard setting for how big your food is and it turns pretty slow so if you were to set it to let out more food it would practically empty everything out had in it for beta pellets. Bad capacity bad functionality bad quality. It's not good when you're just trying to feed one beta fish even though it suggests you can. It'll dirty up your tank with food really quickly. Wasted so much beta food trying too use it.

It’s okay if you are going on a trip or something.
Batteries BALREY fit I really had to force them in which means that they are gonna be even more a a pain to get out to change later too. It works okay, it is not for different size foods tho so you gotta either get all food that’s 1 size or just have them all eat the same food. I have mine on the 2nd most closed setting and it seems to work okay at spitting out my bug bites flakes and betta pro shrimp patties. I haven’t tried it on the 12/24 hr setting yet just did a few button test turns which don’t go as slow so we’ll see how it goes on those! But for now I’d say this is a good option if you just need to feed them while your away for a few days and can’t get someone to come feed your fish!

Works great and good settings
this is easy to use and install, worked with battery for 3 weeks while we went on vacation. good value. use on lowest setting so there isnt a messy tank when you return. My fish were all alive. Good quality.

Great gadget!
Love this for when we go out of town. I know my fish is fed. It was easy to set up, holds a huge amount of food so we could go away for a long time and not worry about my fish going hungry. Great value. My only complaint is that the size of my pellets may not be completely compatible… it tends to be a little inconsistent in the amount of food delivered on each turn.

while this may be good for large community tanks, betta owners DO NOT BUY!!! it does not have a proper setting to dispense a small enough portion where your betta wont overeat and die! I tinkered with it on every mode for 20 minutes and could not get a proper portion that wasn't massive. will absolutely be refunding.

The gear 1 is not working properly and the fish food won’t drop even the fish food is small size. The other gear is so huge amount and not work well for my small tank.
