Superb Product.
I bought this to restore a very badly rotted window sill. The quotes I received to replace the sill were ridiculous so I decided to go down this route. Abatron is easy to apply and work with. Make sure to mix the two part liquid wood evenly and thoroughly. The two part epoxy is easily mixed in your hands. Essentially I rebuilt the entire sill from inside to out using the epoxy. The upper facing was pitted by removed rotten wood but filled smoothly. Creating a flat facing was easy and it sanded down nicely when cured. I ended up using two tubs of each epoxy to complete the job as I underestimated how much would be needed initially. The 'new' sill is rock solid and will outlast me. Highly recommended.

Excellent wood putty.
We used this to fill a massive hole in a roof beam that squirrels had got to. It seems to have worked well and because of the nature of it being a putty rather than liquid, it was much easier to use in the awkward space. Well worth the money when the other option is to replace a whole roof beam.

BEST wood filler I have used EVER!!
BEST wood filler I have used EVER!!It is really easy to use because it is a putty rather than a paste so one simply mixes the Part A and Part B in your hand until the colours blend and push it into the hole in the wood than needs filling. It is much better than the Ronseal product which is a paste and has to be mixed and applied with a putty knife. Also there is no smell so it doesn’t stink up the room unlike other products I have used before.

great product
best filler I have found in terms of ease of use, coupled with strength, so made the filling easy as well as really robust. only lost a star because it is so expensive. i use it for all areas that are structural and/or very exposed so I don't spend too much on the precious stuff. the sellers really reliable and fast too.

Great Product
This is a great product to use. Easy to measure and mix. Goes a long way so don't mix up too much to start with.Hardens quite fast but gives enough time to press, smooth and shape into place. Sands down nicely and takes paint well. Better in my view than other wood filling products on the market.

Worth the extra money
when you're fixing woodwork, you need epoxy that behaves like wood (ie grows and shrinks with the heat, forms a sticky bond etc) - this is the stuff. Don't be tempted to use cheaper car filler - it's too hard and will end up separating from the wood and breaking it to bits. This is better than wood filler - it's proper wood-repairer.

Great Wood Filler
Having used many wood fillers over the years this is absolutely the best. I have used it on house sidings. It is very easy to use and drys easily.

Bonds well, tough yet easy to sand
WoodEpox & LiquidWood seem to be brilliant products.I just repaired some rotted decking boards. The issue with conventional UK products is that the epoxy fillers available in most UK stores harden far too quickly and are unsandable without machinery.LiquidWood is quite thick but penetrates the damaged wood and turns the soft fibres into a hard plastic like material - the forner pliable wood fibres are rock hard. The filler is a delight: like plastecine you can force it into all of the gaps in the wood so as to fill the gaps and build the strength. Unlike other fillers you can easily sand it by hand a day or so later. You can fill it proud of the surface and sand it back by hand.I gather it takes several days to fully harden.I will watch the repair over the coming months as people will be walking on it but I'm very hopeful as it is rock hard to the touch. But for above ground repairs (window sills, facia boards), including areas with detailing, it is excellent as it is so easy to sand back and recreate the detailing, as I did with the grooves on my decking. It does seem expensive but the quantity you get for both products is significant: I used a third of each for some substantial repairs so I'm not convinced the standard products available in the UK are that much cheaper as they arrive in much smaller quantities.

Good stuff
Waited a year to review this product, so far so good. Hope it has longevity as I bought more to repair rotted wood around house.

Excellent product for its intended purpose!
this product performs a function that, previously, would best be done by replacement of wood. Amazing results. Easy to work, easy to sand, easy to follow directions. However, large projects could become expensive. I anticipate good durability, but this remains to be seen.

Performs as advertised
Overall, a great product. It's easy to mix because or the 1:1 ratio, and stays workable for a long time, but sets up within a few hours (sooner if you apply heat). As advertised, it doesn't shrink when cured, and it's easy to carve and sand. I used it to fill a large rotted section in exterior wood window molding, and it performed beautifully. One minor negative - it is the consistency of play dough and doesn't adhere easily to the wood. It wants to stick to your gloved hands instead. Pressing it in with a putty knife helps, but tooling and forming can be awkward. You get the hang of it though.
