Yoga Organic Long Grain Brown Rice - GMO, Cholesterol & Sodium Free (32 Oz)

I recently found out I was allergic to soy and almonds, and I avoid dairy products, so that left rice milk as the alternative. I use a SoyaJoy G4 milk maker (available on Amazon) and this organic rice to make a really nice rice milk, which is actually better than the soy milk I used to make. For each half gallon of rice milk, I cook 1/3 cup of Yoga rice in a cup of distilled water, with 1 tsp of sea salt and 1 Tbsp of cane sugar (I use three milk makers at a time to make 1.5 gallons, so multiply all those numbers by three). After it is cooked, I add 1 cup of the cooked rice rice to the milk maker (filled with more distilled water), which grinds and heats it up. The resulting "milk" has a great taste and texture (unlike that watery stuff you buy in cartons at the store).My wife and I both have given up all wheat products, which has really improved our health, and while I still enjoy cooking long-grain brown rice, she has found that her digestive system works best with this Yoga rice. Buying in quantity saves a lot of money, and the rice goes a long way. We highly recommend this product.

We bought 12 bags of the rice. A few months later, after having eaten from one or two of the bags, we discovered there were bugs all over our kitchen pantry. There have been bugs in the bags of rice, probably eggs that hatched and have now infested our kitchen. We ended up having to throw away all the rest of the bags of rice as well as all the food in our pantry.

This rice was RANCID, did not bother to send it back, do not buy this particular product, go to Whole Foods and purchase the organic rice there.

Gross. My wife found brown and red bugs crawling in the bag when she opened it up. I’ve cancelled this from all future orders. If you buy this, beware!!!

I returned for a refund. The bag itself and the contents looked like they’d been sitting on a back shelf for years. I didn’t dare eat it.

I use rice for rice water hair rinses. After rinsing the water and placing in a jar with fresh water, the color is grayish. All the rice that I've ever purchased has always had a cloudy white color.

I had been looking high & low for ORGANIC white rice to use to make 'rice water' for my hair. The local stores didn't have a good selection of plain organic white rice. I easily found this product on Amazon and it's perfect!!! :-)

I dislocated my right arm and needed some foods on hand because of difficulty driving. This rice is delicious, nutritious and easily combined with many different foods.
