Stahl Tools SSRT Soldering Tip Kit for STSSVT, 4 Piece

Just another quick review to chime in and praise these tips. They seems to heat evenly and quickly and have worked very well in the limited capacity for which I have used them (a few odd jobs so far). They were a perfect replacement for the knock-off solder station (the ER Model SD-203 Temperature Controlled Solder Station) that I got back as an undergrad almost 15 years ago. Unfortunately, I only had the one tip and having learned on it and not exercised proper care, it had about had it (see second picture). I was resigned to buying a new station but stumbled upon these tips, measured and compared and took a chance. Saved a bit of coin and now have a few different options for when I need to solder now. Good quality soldering tips. I’ve been using them for a couple of months & they work just fine. They retain heat well due to being longer than some others, (this style) but that comes at the trade-off of a slightly longer pre-heating time. Depends on your iron mostly though. They work, good product.

These tips are exactly like the one tip you may have received if you bought a SSVT Stahl solder station. Which I believe are great quality tips! As long as you know how to solder correctly and tin these, I don't see a problem/cons with these whatsoever. I am glad these exist and I needed/wanted a chisel tip. I was stuck with the conical that came with the station. IF you own that station AND need tips, go for these! You will not regret the purchase! They are quality tips that I am using on a project as I write this. Enjoy!

For those who are trying to find replacement tips for the above station, these will work with a little modification. The tips are the same diameter as the original tip, and the little stop collar is in the right place and is the correct size. The length that goes in the barrel is too long and requires a quick cut with a hack saw and dress with a file. You will need to cut off about 3/4 of an inch. Use the original for a template. Took all of 5 minutes to accomplish. They heat up well and are an excellent value to keep the old OK Industries Station up and running. Hope this helps someone in the same dilemma for replacement tips, cheers.

All tips fit my Stahl Soldering station perfectly, except for one; the fine point tip. It went 3/4 of the way in. OD near tip was too big. Reduced w/ my dremel, and used. Worked perfectly.

I can confirm that these tips do also fit OK Industries Solder Station. All I had to do is cut off 1/2 inch of the solid copper shaft end of the new Tips that goes in the tube toward the handle.They works Excellently.!! The tip came up to Temperature quickly. And Cooled Quickly when switching OFF. Using an electronic Thermometer I confirmed these tips conduct heat very well. Near the same as the old tips.My Iron is a Ok Industries model SA G-50 Solder Aid. An Oldie BUT excellent.I use this Solder Station to repair Old Tube Equipment and Non SMT Boards.Hope this info helps the seller and buyers.

These soldering tips are high quality tips. I use them to solder mic cables and speaker cables when I install a sound system in a building. They are easy to change out, and they heat up quickly. The tip size is perfect for my work. Highly recommend these tips.

I just wanted to thank all of the reviewers who pointed out that these tips work (with minor modification) for this old trusty soldering station. I have been looking for replacement tips on and off for years for my soldering station and finally have a source for them now, thanks to you.
