Great product, easy to use.
We were really struggling with trying to find something to protect our mantel. We just installed a new fireplace with a wood stove insert and were concerned about what kind of mantel we wanted and we didn't want it to get scorched. We tested it on some wood first, before we tried staining the wood. It worked great. Easy to use. It didn't affect the wood stain/color at all. We have recommended it to our builder also.

Cheaper than replacing my door mat
Requires 24hrs to dry, but worth the wait. New local fire regulation requires a "fire-proof" front door mat. This product addresses that requirement, without resorting to expensive stainless steel door mats, which have their own inherit problems. This bottle contains enough fire retardant to do several average size door mats. Save the bottle, so you can prove your door mat is fire proof.

It does leave light white residue.
This item came in super fast so I appreciated the delivery on this. It was easy to spray, and did not have a chemical smell to it at all. Although after applying there was some spots of residue in certain places of the item that I used this product on. Not terribly bad but noticeable.

Meets California requirements
This is a life saver. I vend at Renaissance fairs, and they require fire-retardant sprays on tents, table cloths, all drapes. This one meets all of California's requirements.

More like no-flame than no-burn
I bought this for a project where I wanted to keep some paper from burning up. I applied the spray to half of a piece of thick paper, let it dry, and then set the unsprayed side on fire. When the flames reached the half of the paper with the spray, the flames themselves stopped, but the paper continued to blacken as though it were still burning. While I was impressed with how quickly and consistently it killed the flames, at the end of each experiment, I was left with a piece of paper that looked entirely burned. For a safety product, I'm sure this stuff is amazing. As I said, it killed the flames as soon as they reached the line where I sprayed, so that would probably stop the fire from spreading to something around the paper. For the art project I was working on, however, this just didn't serve my needs, and I kind of wish they sold this stuff in a smaller spray bottle so I wouldn't be out almost $20.

Great product!
I use it in my doghouse. We have heat bulbs in there for the winter months, and the wood above (can't fit a heat shield in there) the bulbs was looking pretty rough. Been soaking it down with this and no more progression has been seen. You could smell the wood heating up before. Also doesn't bother the dogs with any nasty chemical smells. Good stuff!

I Guess it Works!
Our vendor tents are required to have flame retardant tents...too bad the tent I purchased is not certified retardant. I purchased 2 bottles to ensure I could cover my 10x10 tent completely AND the side walls. Lesson learned. I only need 1 bottle to cover my 10x10 tent and screen sidewalls twice. Better to be safe than sorry My tent passed the burn test, so I'm so happy and going to buy another one next year.

Works Great
Bought No-Burn 1102A Fire Retardant for treating paper, cardboard, & wood. Easy to use and is easily applied. Materials treated with it won't burn on their own. Don't think I would put it on any clothing though. I'd recommend wearing latex or nitrile gloves when applying the product and handling anything prior to it being dry.
