Brightown Edison Bulb, Dimmable 6W E26 LED Bulbs 60 Watts Equivalent Warm White, 6 Pack

I love these lightbulbs in my pendent lights, so I ordered a second package of them for my dining room light fixture. The bulbs look exactly the same amber color until I turned the light switch on. The first package was amber color and the second package was bright white. I double checked the description and they were exactly the same. I need another pack of the amber colored light NOT white light. They are different colored lights. See the photo- two are white and three amber.If the light color matched this would have been five star review. They are beautiful light bulbs packaged well for shipping.Update: I've changed my 1 star review to 4 star because these are quality light bulbs and they look great. I've now ordered three packs of these lights and two out of three are the amber color. I am using the white lights in my bathroom fixture.

As somebody with photo-phobia, I'm very picky about my decorative lights. The led light is very gentle, and it doesn't bother me or my sister with head trauma, even with the bulb exposed for decoration. Works great with my cheap dimmer switch setup, and with single bulbs of these running about $7, buying the bulk pack only makes sense. Just be sure the room it is in works well with the amber light; it plays well of my purple walled basement, but I could see it playing poorly with some colours.

I've been shopping in retail stores for these exact light bulbs but the price of each ($15) was more than I wanted to spend plus not all were LED. So I turned to my trusted shopping site (Amazon) and found these bulbs. I looked at many others but these were the right size, shape and color. I am so DELIGHTED with them, they look amazing in my new "rustic" ceiling fixture. I was impressed at how these were packed, all snuggled in foam and then in a very sturdy box. Thank you...........

Excellent value and nice looking led lights for our kitchen overhead lighting. Hard to believe they are led because they look traditional and retro. Extra benefit of being dimmable. Had lots of positive feedback. “Friendly” warm looking light. Also was packaged very securely in a foam package.

We have a few light fixtures that have exposed bulbs and occasionally a bulb would go out. So when browsing, I saw these bulbs and decided to try them out.At the same time, I also purchases much brighter bulbs (800 lumens +) and, because the bulbs are exposed, for fixtures that are near eye level, it was headache inducing. These bulbs, on the other hand, have a good brightness as well as a coating on the glass to fade around the filament.It's very elegant and really makes the design of a light fixture work.

As others have said the longevity of these bulbs is poor. Purchased the 6 pack in May, 2020. The current Amazon listing states a lifespan of 25,000 hours. This means if left on 24/7/365 they should last nearly 3 years. We certainly don't do that but would estimate an average of 8 hours a day which would translate to 8.5 years of life. 21 months later and two of them are flickering very bad. So bad that I have removed them from the fixture. On the positive side, they do look nice but don't buy if you expect long term quality.

These Edison-like dimmable LED bulbs work great. The only thing I would fault them for is that they look like an LED version of an Edison bulb. I wish that they looked more like the real thing. But they are now being used in a five bulb candelabra fixture in Hawaii. In Hawaii electrical energy costs about $0.50 per kWh. Yikes! So by replacing the five old 60W incandescent bulbs with these 6W LED bulbs, the energy used to run the candelabra fixture dropped from 300W to 30W, a 270W savings. So if the candelabra fixture is on 4 hours per night, the savings is about 1 kWh per night. The new bulbs pay for themselves in less than two months and the dining area where the candelabra fixture is located has the added benefit of staying a little cooler. Win win if you ask me. I wouldn't trade them back for the old incandescent bulbs even tho the older bulbs looked a bit nicer.
