IMPORTANT NOTE: I ordered this as a 128GB device, but have had to wait 10 days for delivery, during which time this listing has changed and now says its for a 512GB device.The original listing didn't give performance data about this, but can tell visually and through what shows on my PC that this is a USB 3.0 device. Always test flash products with software like fakeflashtest, h2testw, checkflash, to verify if they actually have the storage capacity that they claim to have. Linux users can try f3probe and also can run h2testw through wine. The raw capacity is less than claimed, at 125.8 decimal GB, which formats to 117.2GB actual, using exFAT.The stick that I received did pass such testing for genuine size and performance, with read and write speeds in the region of 110/40 MB/s. Just make sure that other size variants of this are genuine, and consider if any slight price saving is worth it against big brand USB 3.0 sticks which may be faster and more reliable.Edit: Listing seems to have been corrected back to 128GB?

It should be noted that this review is for a 128GB version of this stick. It appears receiving the mem stick that listing has changed to a 512GB stick. So my testing result may not accurately represent the stick now for sale.To begin with this memory stick feels really well made with its solid metal casing and the keyring attachment.In my testing to start with I was getting an average write speed of 47MB/s and a read speed of 119MB/s, the read speed staid the same throughout my tests. I find writing to a drive to a new drive can increase it’s write speeds so I perform a secure format so this would write data to the whole drive. After doing so the average write speeds increased to 59MB/s. The peak write speed are around 65MB/s but speed will often pause, before continuing, bringing the average down.Overall I’m happy with this memory stick and while it is sure not the fasted I’ve ever used, it’s by far not the slowest. For the price as will I think this is great value! 17 quid for 512GB stick is amazing!

This USB has been really good for me - it has plenty of storage space and has reasonably good read and write speeds for a USB 3.0 stick. I ran some tests and the capacity was completely real, I would definitely advise you to run your own tests just to be 100% certain but based on mine and other's reviews, this isn't a fake size USB.

I work with large projects which are taking a lot from the memory of my computer so this USB stick allows me to work directly from the storage device on the computer without taking the memory of my laptop.The actual stick is made of good material, it has a very nice design which is not to be and it can be even attached to the keys or to a lanyard.I did not have any issues with using it, it connected automatically with my laptop and it works seamlessly when I am using it for my projects.Because it has such a large capacity of 64 GB, it allows me to store my work projects in one place without the need to transfer all the data all the time from one side to another.It is a small, yet useful device which helps me improve my workflow and most importantly achieve better results.Transferring a project which has 20 GB, it took just a few minutes and the scanning speed is also good.It does what it has to do, it is efficient and therefore I am happy with how it performs.
