Bought this for my Moka pot at the suggestion of my Italian friend Antoni because the cheap Kona blend and the Starbucks Pike’s etc sucked plain and simple from the Moka. This illy is delicious. Just be sure and only fill the Moka strainer 1/4-1/3 way max unless you go with half to 3/4 and add water to your cup. When I want 2 full “American “ size coffee cups I go a bit over 3/4 full strainer and add hot water to my cup. Buy this coffee. It really does taste great.

Great coffee! This has been a terrific coffee and grind for my Grosche Mocha Pot (6 cup makes wonderful almost perfect near espresso). I’ve been trying a number of espresso grinds and Illy has delivered the finest coffee. I recently purchased a Vevok Chef O20 Manual Coffee Grinder which also does a fantastic job, so I’ll be switching to a whole bean Illy. You can’t go wrong with this brand.

good stuff, smooth. Maybe a bit lighter roast than I'd prefer but it's pretty close.

The flavor is robust and deep, not overly acidic or bitter like some other brands. There are distinctive notes of chocolate and caramel in each sip that feels like sitting at a cafe in Italy. The consistency of the grounds is perfect for a moka pot.

I would have given this product 5 stars because the espresso itself was awesome but the canister came without the cap, so now my espresso is in a ziploc baggie instead.

Lo hago servir para rellenar una capsula recargable Dolce Gusto y el cafè queda perfecto, con espuma. Lo mejor es su sabor. Con la ingesta de mas de un cafe convencional, personalmente me suelen produir sensacion de taquicardia. Con este cafe no me pasa, y no es que sea un cafè demasiado suave sinó que su gusto es intenso.

Delicious coffee with a stronger, fuller taste. My go-to choice and ideal for the first cup of the day to get you started. Grind size is fine for my cafetiere and aeropress. However, not for the first time the tin was delivered without its lid. This is the third time this year (I get it delivered every three weeks with the occasional emergency tin ordered separately). Once again I had to get the lid from the empty tin out of the recylcing bin to use on the new tin, which is kind of keeping in the spirit of recycling I guess, and not the end of the world but... once the vacuum lid is taken off there would have been no way to keep the coffee fresh. Especially annoying if the recycling had been collected before opening the new tin.
