Do NOT BUY
Broken after a handful of uses. I'm so mad. We decided to try this brand instead of another instant pot because of the compact size and other reviews. The pressure cook option is broken. The steam/pressure just keeps pouring out of the sides of the lid... And out the back cut out piece. Less than a year owning it. Our insta pot later for 7 years. Not like this was cheap.

Perfect size and quality for every day use
I love pretty much everything about this pressure cooker. I have a larger pressure cooker and wanted something smaller, but it was important me to have the metal insert rather than a coated ceramic. I use it every day. My only issue has been the lid will get a little stuck sometimes, but I would absolutely recommend this.

Nice pressure cooker
This pressure cooker is stainless steel and a large capacity. It comes with a one cup measure and two spoons that won’t scratch the metal. It cooks well and the food tastes great that has been cooked in it. I do like the shape of this one, it can sit tucked back on my counter better. I will say my only complaint is that it’s hard to differentiate between natural release and quick release - and there’s no directions in the manual on how to easily pick between the two. If the blue light is on above the “release” button- it will be a quick release. However, it’s still lost on me how to accurately select how to release. It scares the crap out of me nearly every time I use this thing. They need to make this aspect better and easier to select which release method. The directions are not written well either. If you’re familiar with pressure cookers from another brand you’ll be able to figure it out, but if this is your first pressure cooker, don’t depend on the written guide to help too much. There is a plastic cover over the release valve which is nice, but I do still try and move it away from the cabinets. Overall, it’s a nice pressure cooker, a more compact size and cooks great.

Not as multi-functional as advertised
The Midea Electric Pressure Cooker is a versatile appliance with several useful features, but it has some notable drawbacks in functionality and design clarity. Pros: Efficient Pressure Cooking: The pressure cooker works well, heating quickly and offering two sauté temperature options for versatile cooking. Smart Pressure Release: The pressure release button is well-designed to prevent steam burns, adding a layer of safety during use. Sleek Design: The inclined control panel is a nice touch, making it easier to view and operate. Cons: Slow Cooker Limitation: The slow cooker function is basic, with a timer but no adjustable temperature settings, limiting its usability. No Dedicated Rice Function: While you can use the pressure cook function for rice, the lack of a specific rice program is an oversight. Incomplete Steam Functionality: There’s no included rack or steamer basket, which diminishes the utility of the steam function. Confusing Sous Vide Feature: The sous vide option lacks water circulation, which is essential for precise temperature control, making this function questionable. Unclear Self-Clean Feature: Despite mentioning self-cleaning, there is no explicit self-clean setting, leading to confusion about how to use this feature. Suspect Multi-Functionality: Advertised as an 8-in-1 device, it is advertised to perform as a pressure cooker, sauté pan, slow cooker, yogurt maker, and more, but it falls short on various functions. Poorly Detailed Instructions: The user manual lacks clear guidance on using the various functions, especially the sous vide and self-clean features. Overall: While the Midea Electric Pressure Cooker performs well for pressure cooking and sautéing, its limitations in slow cooking, steaming, and sous vide functions, combined with unclear instructions, make it less user-friendly than other options on the market. The design and safety features are commendable, but the overall experience doesn’t significantly stand out compared to standalone pressure cookers. It’s a decent appliance but may fall short for those looking for true multi-functionality.

Great value
This actually works quite well. I have only recently heard of this company and so far this has proven to be a useful and reliable kitchen appliance. It is pretty easy to use and the price isn't bad at all. It's a good size and cooks quickly. I like that it will do multiple jobs. In s a small kitchen any device that can take on other jobs is a fabulous. The pressure cooker will have a pot roast done in a short amount of time to the point it just falls apart, which is how I like it.
