No QA - Defective Card
Looked fine, no visual flaws, came with a low-profile bracket, and had the MAC on a sticker (I always appreciate this). But the card itself was so defective that it prevents my machine from booting. It was very obviously never QA'd, because even a basic pin continuity check would have shown this card was defective. Do not buy this brand for any reason. It's a lottery as to whether or not you'll get a working card.

Works fast but gets hot
Works great but runs hot, Windows 10 and 11 automatically pick up drives from Microsoft (not built in). Negotiates at 1, 2.5, 5, and 10 Gb. But note the "server" in the name - these are clearly designed to be installed in a server that provides forced air flow over the pcie slots. Running this in a desktop might shorten its life if you don't add extra cooling.

Windows 11 sucks
I had issues with the NIC dropping in and out after I installed it in my workstation. Turns out the driver Windows 11 installed for it was not appropriate for the device. After installing the included driver disc, I was able to get a stable connection and ensure I was getting the proper link speed. It is an optical disc, I didn't even try finding it online.

Had issues finding a suitable Windows driver
I'm not sure if it's the fault of the card or the driver - Windows 11 didn't like it. More than half the time on bootup, it connected at 1GB instead of 10GB. It also had issues with WoL, so I switched back to an old Intel card instead and that has worked just fine (though that card doesn't support WoL at all). The card comes with a CD for drivers, but who has a CD anymore. The website it refers you to no longer works, so I was on my own with finding a driver for Windows 11.

My Ethernet port on my MB went out, threw this in the PCIE slot and downloaded some drivers online, and it worked like a charm! The only downside is it comes with a small CD (GameCube game size) but who still has disk drives in 2025
