I tried out this mat that my friend bought and let me borrow because of my back pain. I do notice a difference when I use It and my fiancé hurt his shoulder and was in pain and used It one time and did two sessions of 20 minutes on two different modes and said the next day his shoulder felt perfectly fine and totally healed! So after trying out my friends mat I ordered us our own! Red light therapy is really good but you have to get a product with lights that are real and actually have enough power to penetrate the skin. I don’t know how to test how strong the lights are or how to tell that they are real but we can feel a difference when we use It so that’s my only way of knowing. This isn’t as strong as some more expensive lights or a cold laser light but It is a great product for every day use for people who do labor jobs that are hard on the body and I think this is worth the price! I would recommend to just use It on straight skin so that there’s no obstructions blocking the light penetration so It can work as good as possible. The heat level feels good it’s not as hot as a heating pad but gets warm enough to help loosen up some muscle tightness. Seems like it’s made pretty well and the cord length I think is good It reaches from behind the couch to where I sit and reaches from the plug next to my bed as well so I think the cord length is fine! As for size, the mat covers my whole back so I like It and It also is flexible and can be wrapped around your arm or leg and It comes with a stretchy Velcro belt to wrap the mat around and secure It if you need It on your knee ankle or elbow etc. we like It!

Love this panel. Has helped after using a month with my aching hips from menopause. Use it 3-5 times a week. The light is warm and comfortable. Can get a little hot on the highest bright setting.

This red light wrap is easy to use, comfortable to relax and warm to the skin. The size makes it perfect for covering large areas at once. The only down side to some maybe the plastic against the skin and the constant need to restart the mat due to it over heating every 20 minutes. But worth the try and cheaper then a sauna or spa day, where you have to go out. This can be achieved in the comfort of your own home.

Works great on sore muscles, tight hips and knots. My mother and I both use it so much, I'm buying a second one so wr both have one for nightly use.

This red light pad is amazing. It feels so good. I mostly use it for my back. It also really does help stomach pain and bloating, as well. I drape it over my shoulders when I have shoulder pain. I hope to buy the larger size soon. I’ve been using this for seven months with no issues.

Just the right size to cover my back plus my hips. The heat is just right. I can lay, or sit. Love it

I am very happy with mine. It has helped with shoulder pain, feet pain and knee pain. I even bought one for my Mom later and she loves it, it has helped her with some issues. It is easy to use and I like that you can easily clean it

2 stars off because there is a plastic sheet over the lights (which is not mentioned in the description). I have two other devices from ComfyTemp, and I love them. One is for the shoulder, and has a soft fabric surface. Very comfortable, not sweaty, has done wonders for rotator cuff issues. The other I just got- the belt with red lights and vibration, for the back. It has a soft leather like surface. Again, comfortable and not sweaty. (Direct skin contact for both). This pad has a thick clear plastic cover that makes me sweaty and sticky just touching it. There is no way I am putting this plastic on my skin and then heating it up. Using it over "thin clothing" negates quite a bit of the depth of penetration, especially important if you are trying to get to the level of the hip joint. Since I like the other 2 products I decided to just cut the plastic sheet off. There is a black foam around the lights, so it won't be as durable as the other devices, but I'm just using it at bedtime. Comfortable without the plastic. ComfyTemp needs to adjust this design.
